Well remember the day who could forget
Think the fence help their fans although some got over

The thing there was a lot of violence those days and after the Givens penalty the mood was poisoned

Thankfully Nige doesn't need a fence to protect him tomorrow and fans are more mature now

Still – “we sent the Blades down” was a refrain that was heard around Fellows Park for years afterwards.”

I had a tee shirt for ages with “we sent the blades down” embezzled on the front”

Pasted over the front page was “BLADES DOWN!”. I still have it”

MASSIVE :D

Yes, I noticed that too.

I didn't realise they had taken such great delight in our misery and thee bastards deserve some 'own back'. If we only win one more game this season, it would be nice to piss on their bonfire.

Grade 2 tear in his calf for John Brayford. Out for a number of weeks, possibly the rest of the season. Alex Baptiste back in training #SUFC

Grade 2- a more substantial tear occurs involving more fibres and the patient feels a sharp pain in the lower leg as well as swelling and bruising.

Done that two or three times - couldn't walk properly for three weeks after and took 6 weeks to get back running - but that's without an oxygen tent and a shed load of physios
It pops as though someone has fired a stone from a catapult at you. Then goes all purple and yellow and green and black as the bleeding comes out.

Doubt we'll see JB in a Blades shirt before next season - will it be never again?

He is becoming injured more often.

Best get on the phone to Clough to let him know Brayford is available.

Imagine us playing a team which is geographically nowhere near us and with no historical rivalry of any kind and then actually singing songs and producing merchandise about it afterwards.
My only conclusion is that life must be mightily fucking boring in Walsall.

His agent will be frantically trying to get him fixed up with another club to coincide with his recovery.

Cheers Roy, although you could have edited the S6 scum out of it! ;)

"...I also remember at the final whistle the celebrations, included one bloke who was going wild and who waited till the end to tell us that he was a Wendy fan who had come along to see the enemy relegated!.."

Southend post-match interview not covered on club website, now he's ill. They've gagged him!!

Can Crosby pick the following team please?:-

Long

Basham Edgar McEveley

Hammond/ Coutts
Flynn Reed Whiteman Woolford

Sharp Done

I wasted three years of my life working there... If you can imagine going to Dingle-Ville and then turning the clock back another 5-10 years??

Sounds like a PIG.
Do Walsall call Pigs "Wendies" ....
'kin Vermin, embarrassment to this city.

Mcabe can't sell him yet then.

I bet those 3 years felt like 30.

And the rest, stuck in an industrial site near Bloxwich, pushing rusted nails into my eyes. When they said "redundancy" I shouted "voluntary" and I was off...

Lady HillmortonBlade comes from Rotherham, and even she was shocked at how crap Walsall was (if you can believe it??)

It is however, one of my most frequented away ground with the Blades, and I've always been made to feel welcome in their clubhouse at the ground (trying to be fair)

“We’ll take over 1,000, but not many more. I don’t think the town quite believes yet."
