Steve Bruce was sat behind me on the flight back from Dubai on Friday evening. Had a good chat with him and he said that at 2-0 down there place he thought “they were going to murder us.”

He said that they did the same against Barnsley but had learnt from our game.

Basically lots of respect for Wilder.

Nice fella and was more than happy to chat.

Also saw him on Saturday but didn’t get chance to say hello as boo radley came and chatted instead :)
 



Really looking forward to seeing the Villa Premiership stars tomorrow night, we are so lucky that they are gracing Bramall Lane.


Anyone know if that cheating diving tw#t who plays in midfield will be playing for them tomorrow ?
 
What a bunch of King CNUTS.

Last time we played em their boards were in melt down, a couple of wins and now listen to em the fickle bastards.

Fuck I hope we smash em now and I hope Birmingham smash em too. I despise Villa for no real reason other than they were just one of those boring average Prem clubs for so long getting good gates when doing well but absolutely terrible gates when doing bad. Such a cunt club.

I'd forgotten about him the greasy looking twat, I hated his performance at there place, a skillful player who forgets about playing in place of diving and trying to con the referee, hope we have a strong ref tomorrow and he gets booked fir diving.
 
It's like the game at their place never took place.
While ever they have Bruce in charge, we've got a chance.

Can we get Roy's view from to be stuck up in the changing rooms. If I was a Blades player I would love to see this before a game it would definitely motivate me (not that any additional motivation would be required!)

It really pisses me off because he has clear talent and might go far but instead of playing football he's a mardy arse with the ref and dives at every opportunity he gets. Frustrating to see a good player ruined by being an absolute nob sack.
 
Why are there so many supposedly 'Premiership' quality teams who look at us (and other teams no doubt) and ask, "Who?".

Not one of this lot (of which I include the lame passengers over at S6) can imagine a team buying shrewdly and having a manager good enough to build a team worthy of their success. I can recall years ago the 'mighty' Liverpool buying a player from Scunthorpe for around £35 grand, which even in those days wasn't a fortune. His name was Keegan, and his impact on Liverpool was immense. Yet this nonsense still persists, and the fact that players can cost very little and aren't that well known somehow equates with being not very good, well forgive me, but this type of arrogance deserves the clearest reminder of why football is all about what happens on the pitch, not how much a player is meant to be worth.

Of course the higher you go the expectation is that the skill-set will be an improvement, but should anyone underestimate us, then woe betide them for assuming we're just turning up to receive a beating. As Chris Wilder has said before, we'll concern ourselves with how we play, and let them worry about us. UTMB!
 
Loads of fringe prem players on fringe prem player salaries. As big of a club as they are that can only last so long without a Wolves style cash influx. They had better not fuck this season up.

In terms of tomorrow they will attack which at least means it'll be an event. Bruce is no tactical genius and their players will back themselves to be better. Bring it on!
