Sound like some of our fans last season

Sounds like us this season...

“The recurring thing seems to be naivety at the back and lack of movement and cover from midfield, its bloody hard to defend when you have runners which no one is tracking coming at you (yet the defender tends to get the blame, whilst also never being provided with an ‘out’ ball, especially if ball playing is not your thing.”

Dangerous going forward and score goals. Just hope we outscore them with their shit defence.

Whilst he's off form, it would be good to see Adams on the pitch at some point - he terrified them at their place last year and it might be good for his confidence to play them again

“I recall the absolute hammering McEveley got at Preston a few years back when he got beaten for a header after tracking back following various midfield and defensive fuck ups, the ball should never got there in the first place but as he was the chosen scapegoat at that time the dogs abuse he got was ridiculous, we do seem to love to choose a scapegoat and then go after them!”

Poor old Jay! I guess some players are just a magnet for being a scapegoat.

I am glad our fans aren't like like this

“7-7 draw on Saturday”

Might be worth a cheeky quid....;)

Edit : No odds on it with bet365, but 4-4 is 200/1.......

“When we move the ball forwards quickly no team in this league can stop us"

Oh dear. Looks like we'll need our shooting boots on today.

I'd be more confident if Adkins didn't seem like he was shitting a brick in the pre-match interview.

An error-prone defence that likes to play from the back – when they've got the ball we'll need Done and Sharp to put pressure on them as much as possible today.

"The trouble with it is that doing it all the time means teams will press you and losing the ball there is dangerous. A ball lost on the edge of their box is better than on the edge of ours.”

Oh dear...not sure our midfield could press flowers..

I think we play various ways:

sometimes we press en masse
sometimes we let one player have it and cover the passes
sometimes we hold off for ten or fifteen minutes inducing a false sense of security, then suddenly switch and Bash (usually) makes a challenge, wins the ball and we have good forward possession - but I don't recall us actually scoring from one of these

It might not be 5-5 today but we could see goals galore.

Hopefully we can just stick in one end whilst keeping it out the other...

UTB!
