'Plenty of hairy-arsed Yorkshiremen?'

Sounds like they're struggling for form whilst picking up points...pretty much like us...owt could happen...

Fair an honest views there, we won't see that too often this season I'm sure.

I would like us to stuff 'em though just because of their behaviour in the play offs

"Traore looked biscuits against Sarfend, so no worries there."

Biscuits?

Luckily I'm quite proficient in the ol' rhyming slang lark.

'Traore looked biscuits' - Biscuits = McVities. McVities are famous for their digestives & just by ruling out the unlikely scenario that the half time entertainment somehow involved Traore's toilet time, I think we can safely translate the above sentence to 'Traore had the shits against Safend, so no worries there'.

At least I think that's what he means.

Does highlight that whenever we are focussing on the players we are missing, the opposition will often have similar problems of injury etc, even this early on the season.

I wonder if they've got it wrong about call ups and they are after the game.

Wanted to despise them bc of the reaction of some of their fans after the play-offs but the comments then and now are fair.

They're expecting goals. We're expecting goals.

It can only mean one thing.

0-0.

Also if their RB is a problem position then maybe Che or Woolford will pass into legend as the greatest player ever to grace the playing fields of Wiltshire.

so Traore played profundities
thanks for clearing that up

He played with 'great insight and knowledge' basically.

WHY THE FUCK ARE WE LETTING OUR RIVALS SIGN PLAYERS LIKE THAT?

FUCK OFF MCCABE. TAKE YOUR SHARE AND GET OUT. You and your mate Blackwell are killing this club. WHERES THE PARACHUTE MONEY GONE KEV? EH?

Attacking wise we are in my opinion much better equipped this year than in the play-offs last year however I still worry about how we will cope at the back. Obviously this time we are likely to go down there with two CB's as opposed to the shambles in May however all said on the other thread, we are yet to be desired in the full back areas which scares me with the pace Swindon have and the ability to get in behind.

If we can stifle Swindon and force them into playing the longer ball into the box in the same way that Southend managed to for the most of the game then I fancy our CB's to mop it up for the most. It is just the smaller, pacey trickier players who will cause us the problems and this does worry me. I guess we will just have to adapt to the opposition and look more at a Counter attacking style of play as opposed to an out and out attack as we will need to wide men to get back and help to double man mark the threat.

Bash is important in CM for me against Swindon as well as they do have a bit of height in there to win the knock downs.

Gonna be our toughtest game thus far anyway but if we are sensible then we can win it, either way we need to be looking to come away with a draw bare minimum.
