It’s interesting to see that opposition fans remember details like who was managing us nearly 35 years ago. It speaks volumes for managers like Bassett, Warnock and Wilder that they gave the club an identity. I bet opposition fans would never say “the time we played them when David Weir was boss…” (admittedly that would only make about 12 teams eligible to say that, but you get the point).

They were the worst side to visit last season. Not because they didn't have good players but simply had a one dimensional way to play and, once we'd scored early, had no way back into the game.
Just keeping the ball for the great possession stats (can't think of any other reason for being so unadventurous) played right into our hands.
If I were them I'd surprise us by launching some quick and incisive attacks.

Strange team Swansea.....they are the kings of keeping possession playing nice football but don't do much else.

Think 1st goal is really important.
If Swansea score first this could be a tight game and might even only draw.

If we score first then could be 3-0, we're overdue a convincing performance.
Although I'd rather us save a top display for the Middlesboro game a few days later.

I'd be satisfied with 4 points from our next 2 home games, if we gain 6 points then promotion is almost in the bag.

That might be the worst take on us that I've seen this season.

In reality we attack for 20 minutes, usually score in that time and then turn in to a bunch of lemons for the remainder of the game.
