I find it strange when opposition fans perception of the Blades is exactly how we'd like our team to play, but rarely feel that we actually do.

It’s interesting to see that opposition fans remember details like who was managing us nearly 35 years ago. It speaks volumes for managers like Bassett, Warnock and Wilder that they gave the club an identity. I bet opposition fans would never say “the time we played them when David Weir was boss…” (admittedly that would only make about 12 teams eligible to say that, but you get the point).

Fair comments really , they were were probably one of the worst away sides at the Lane last season and there away form isn’t great .
Unless they know something we don’t about Brewster I do t think they’ll be getting reacquainted with him tmmw ? But fully expect McBurnie & Doyle back in the frame

Honest opinions and I love the 1-5 score line, all Blades will recognise the optimism, much better than being, mardy and OTT.

I was there that day and got a lift home with a bus full of Swansea fans. Completely irrelevant but I still thought I'd mention it.
