John Ireland Stand???

WTF

We need to be out of the cups or play the squad - none of the first team please Chris.

Hope they realise this is a third starting 11 and about a 10-12k gate with no fans behind our home end goal? It will be an awful atmosphere.

I'm sure Silent Blade can fill in the details, but we got hammered 5-2 in what was otherwise a great (Div 4) season. I seem to recall us wearing an unusual colour combo that game? Solid colour shirts, not stripes?

It was actually a 90th minute penalty, although I realise they all count (it was nailed on mind). When Sunderland came to BDTBL on Boxing Day the year before last, they were absolutely woeful, have they improved in that time, it doesn't sound like it?
One of THE worst performances I’ve ever seen from a football team

Someone who sits at home and couldn’t be arsed to go to the previous round

Ignore this fool I’m giving good advice on this.

Bigger moaning c sorry Blade alert.

My sympathies lie with all those who lost their retina at the last night game, who rather magnanimously have managed to not knock the club over it.

Clearly another McCabe master plan Za?

Great day out that Colchester game.
Memorable season that in the 4th

He lost didn’t you know? Good riddance.

I am well aware it’s the Premier League standard lighting come prepared, it’s sound advice.

That’s for us who are actually going of course..

I always read the Sunderland comments in my head with a mackem accent.

I was at Uni with some mackem lads, good laugh and love a beer. They do think they’re a bit big time sometimes, but seems that they’ve gone back to how they use different to be again now that they’re not pissing league 1. Nice to see

From SkySports
"Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder says his side are not in a position yet to challenge for the Carabao Cup and also ensure Premier League survival. "

I do it in a Geordie accent just to piss them off.

The game at the lane on our first season back in the championship (I think Boxing Day) was the worst performance from a team I had seen for a long time.

They had packed the bottom of Bramall lane out and their players could not even be arsed to put a shift in. I did feel sorry em

21,485 at the pigs tonite , will we beat it ?
Nope. Last round against Blackburn was dire so puts people off. Plus it will be mainly our second team against Sunland. Not opening all the ground suggests we're not too bothered bout this cup competition.

Great comments from a great club. I always recall that season they went up with Phillips and Quinn up front. I was only young at the time and their fans were one of the first (along with Man City) that I’d seen at the Lane and thought, “wow”.
