Shef Utd are the third best team in the division. If you win you will be deserved winners. We were the 4th, so to be fair this final being played out between the pair of us is how it should be……..
By the way I have always liked the chip butty song you sing... I just hope I only hear it before the game on Saturday.
Aye
Best make sure you’re not listening @ start of 2nd half thenšŸ¤”

Any views on ā€œStarmanā€? - reckon you may be subject to a rendition or two of that n’all.

No post match if we lose as I'll be getting into shin kicking

Well, seeing as you may not write any more "View from" this season, just want to say thanks for all the effort you put in, week in, week out, it's something I enjoy reading before and after each game.

So, all that is left is to say, officially, to close the 2024/25 season, is.......

Cheers Panchero!

Cheers roy
Personally I think it's going to be a tight ,nervy game where a individual error could decide the game, after their win over coventry I think they'll go with similar sit back tactics and try and hit us on the break.
Its definitely not going to be a game for the purist ,depends on which team wilder puts out how we end up.

Of all the wanker clubs that bleat on about parachute payments…Sunlan are easily the worst. Maybe if they’d been more careful with their own PP, they wouldn’t have been out of the Prem for as long as they have…I’m more determined than ever to dispatch this bunch of semi-skimmed Geordies…Fuck em.

It just proves that most of them are as blinkered as Blades fans.

It doesn’t change the fact that our starters are better and we have greater squad depth from our bench.
We have some experienced big match players too, if they are needed?

Happy with that šŸ™‚

Berkshire posting on there too šŸ¤”

What is this persistent myth about Wednesday getting better crowds than us? It's ridiculous and hasn't been true for years
It's the cult of the massive.

You see them everywhere, anytime attendances are mentioned by any club in the 92 or any member of the media there will be a grunter along to tell the innocent party about how amazing their crowds are and 3000 to QPR etc.

They infest any and all parts of football fandom talking about pigonomics and their massiveness. Eventually the lies are repeated so much and so often that it becomes part of the accepted wisdom.

To be fair to them it takes an enormous effort to constantly keep up with their narrative, but you can see first hand what it's like just by looking at PorkTalk, where they just lie repeatedly to each other to keep themselves (in)sane.

ā€œThey’ve spent fortunes and had parachute payments that they got because of over spending the last time they were in this league to get promoted.ā€

I found the ā€œthey’ve had better results but we’ve had better points total’ quite baffling/amusing šŸ¤”šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Tall Sheffield United player scores header from a corner = big lump bulldozed it in.

Tall Sunderland player scores header from a corner = heroics.

Of course this is a sample of just a few fans but I always thought they knew their onions. This is just the same snivelling, whining shite we see from clubs who never have a sniff of the Premier League. Though they'd be better than that.

No idea what will happen, hoping for a good game and that we turn up. Everything else is up to the gods. Wilder's toughest opponent is himself. Hope he doesn't overthink it.

Cheers Roygbiv , and clearly there's not much point in us turning up.

I didn't realise just how good they are, and how physical we are. Our only hope is for our giant keeper, to chuck the ball forward to our big lads, Hamer, O'Hare and Brewster.

Hoof!

Strange all this level of delusion from Sunderland, the truth is they have been on a dreadful run of form gifted their first win in ages at Coventry outplayed in 2nd leg and only got through by a last minute goal. I understand why their fans have gone all giddy with the sheer relief of making the final but phuck me they sound like pig fans who think they are world beaters after a few wins.
Going to be a very tough game. I have us down as slight favourites, we aren't the team that played them earlier we are now decidedly better after the January window we can now field a proper bench unlike up at Sunderland where our bench was made up of kids hoping to get on for their debut.

Quietly confident āš”ļøāš”ļøāš”ļø

Well they keep going on about earlier in the season. If they think our team on Saturday is the same ……They are in for one hell of a SHOCK!!!!!

Thanks Roy one more report to come from you
