It's nice that teams no longer expect an easy ride at the Lane.

Darren doesn't know his father....

Not sure if he actually doesn't know his father or if you're saying the reason he's such a bad referee is because of daddy issues. Or it could be a joke about his name...

Just in case

1. Aw that's so sad :(

2. Lol good one

Some sensible lads at Shrewsbury it appears and a warning to all that they are hoping there may be something in this for them.

How's your father?
How's your father?
How's your father, referee?
You haven't got one,
you're a bastard,
you're a bastard referee.

Biggest difference there is Reed, Baxter and Hammond compared to Fleck, Coutts and Duffy

Thought you'd been collecting quotes from the wrong sources at first - so many of those comments about team belief etc are what we've been saying.

Not that I think Wilder would allow complacency, or even that the players would be so arrogant, but as with every other game we've played we'll need focus and the realisation of what's required to win. Take note of last Sunday's first half performance, uber-slow off the block, at times made to look amateurish, and we never really turned up. The second half was, of course, a return to what we've come to expect. No slip-up's lads, be at maximum from the off, and no assumptions about the opposition, we need every point we can gain if we want to resume our place in the Championship UTB

always had a slight soft spot for shrewsbury i remember being told years ago that shrewsbury were an old bogey team of ours back the 'old' 3rd and 4th division days and i used to think "who the bloody hell are shrewsbury" of course this was when were a solid championship team and werent playing teams of there size on a weekly basis :D they always seem like a proper club to with a decent set of fans to.
hope they stay up!

We didn't beat them in the league until the first game of 2012-3. Before that they'd gone unbeaten in 8 games.
