Roy's View From... Pre-Match View From QPR

It looks ominous to me.

We've won our last 5 consecutive away games.
They've lost their last 4 consecutive home games and their fans don't seem to give them a prayer when they play us, so zero pressure.

How offer have we not turned up or started really slowly when hot favourites to win a match?
Wouldn't surprise me if we lose. 2-0 to QPR.

Very much agree.....and also don't forget the US Blades (Noah, Chad and co).

The thing that impresses me is the very "professional" presentation and writing skills of some of these guys.
It's entertaining and greatly appreciated, think it shows what a big cub we are, with so much interest and the standards being so high.

Even the official SUFC YouTube channel is top notch. We've come a long long way, all pretty impressive stuff which continuously improves the image of SUFC.

Interesting that several clubs rate Berge more than we do !
I think he is essential to our success in the final half of the season.

To be fair....if you just view the Berge highlights then he DOES look comfortable PL level
but they won't have seen how he performs for the other 70 minutes.

On the ball Berge can be quality, it's off the ball where he seems to disappear.
Fortunately we have quality in other areas, so his weaknesses don't effect the team too much, hence he earns his place.

To be honest, that’s how they should feel. They are really poor at the moment and we are the best team in the league.

However, football !

Must say I think a team is going to get an absolute kicking from us soon. Maybe it’ll be tomorrow.

I think he struggles to read the game as well as the top players can. He's full of ability, strength and athleticism and will at least make an above average player. But needs close instruction in game, in recent match streams, I've noticed him snapping back at both Norwood and Baldock when they've given him instruction after a passage of play went wrong.
He's one of those star born lucky buggers, who could succeed in quite a few sports, then reach a point where they have to choose one. I suspect that he probably should have picked basket ball or tennis. Hope i'm wrong!
 
The last couple of pre match view froms have been from weak teams saying they're going to beat us, QPR are the one team that I would have thought might be able to test us, so the fact their fans are so downbeat unsettles me a bit. We'll either batter them 3-0 or they will us
 
Miserable bunch of fans. They have not only lost a decent young manager, but also lost a lot of respect for the same group of players that made them a half decent side.
It seems that the new man in charge has got his work cut out stopping the slide.
Someone has got a drubbing coming. Might as well be QPR …….. :)
 



Reading that I think I’m gonna put a £10 on them to win…..

But feel free to ignore every other word of the post that explains the manner in which we will win, lose or draw.

Ignore the fact that my post is in answer to QPR fans comments who would apparently be happy with just a decent performance.

QPR will have a decent performance regardless of the score, because for large parts of every game we make everyone look half decent.

But pick out five words of a post that you think you can use to pointscore and get one upmanship on somebody if you want, it's what a certain group of resident four year olds on this forum do when they see something they don't like

cant agree with any of that
you make out we dont deserve to be on 50 points after 25 games
you dont do that by accident
At least QPR fans recognise how good weve been even if some of ours decry every step forward

you are aware weve had 3 promotions and 1 play off and only 1 relegation in the last 7 years
why do you keep making out we thrive on failure

Just not summet you expect to hear from their manager is it?

It's horrible but I hope some players/coaching staff read the forums and it completely deflates them for tonight. I mean surely they must do? For example if I was the manager of United I'd definitely be reading these.
