I can't believe we lost to Barney

Last season our 10 men lost to 11 Barney the Dinosaurs

Maybe a lot are basing their comments on the game at Loftus Road, where we weren’t at our best and ground a win out via a suspect penalty.
Possibly in their case BB and we were also poor their last season as well as you probably witnessed first hand. But as eluded to, it’s not just the QPR fans and not just this season. It seems to me that we’ll always be the battling Blades with a team full of hard working cloggers and gargantuan players nomatter how well we really play to some.

"Utd have been off the boil lately”

This kids been rightfully corrected by his own.

But off the boil - how on earth do you even come to that conclusion. 10 pts from 12. 9 goals in the last 3 (league games only obvs)

And we now have Washing Up and Washing Machine as a potential line up. Bold statement.

With almost wall to wall football and the amount of times we have been on TV over the last 12 months it’s unbelievable how many people stil think we are a direct, physical long ball side.

A Newcastle fan who works at another branch of my firm was telling me the other day if we got promoted we would struggle as long ball football just doesn’t work now, he wouldn’t believe it when I tried to explain we are one of the best footballing sides in the country.

they can think what they like - what I do know is they've only got 1 song...............loads of ders and 1 word...........hoops.:p

None of them have referred to us as a direct, physical, long ball side though

We are battling and we are organised. I dare you to tell Wilder otherwise. It’s just that we’ve added a bit of panache to it.

Totally agree.

I suppose “organised” is a term usually meant for a team that is defensively organised.
Our main strength is that we play superbly well as a team where everyone knows their role and seem to know where everyone is positioned without even looking. I’d prefer to use the discription ”well coached” instead of organised.

The word “battling” is usually used for a limited team that make it difficult for the opposition, so it not accurate in that sense.
I’d say “fully committed” is a preferred discription than battling.

You never hear people describe Barcelona, Man City or Real Madrid as organised battling sides
When actually quite often the very successful sides are incredibly organised and battling giving 100%.

A lot of fans this season and last in the view froms and other fans forums have said it.

Also a couple of so called experts on TV have more or less said it, Darren Eadie and Paul Parker spring to mind.

Cheers Roy. Some baffling comments there?. Clarke scoring 3 against them!!!. They’ve definitely got a bad case of small club syndrome just like Brentford!!. UTB

"“I am baffled at where they are in the table and their position gives me hope we may indeed scrape into the play off places.
I didn’t think much to them when they beat us in that early season game. They must be doing something right but I will be disappointed if we finish below them this season.”"

Prepare to be disappointed then mi' owd cocka!

" I haven’t paid much attention to them this season ( or any season, TBH) so I’d be interested to hear from someone who has been paying attention as to whether they are the real deal?”
Ditto me regarding QPR.

That’s the legacy we have given ourselves, I’m afraid.

A Newcastle fan who works at another branch of my firm was telling me the other day if we got promoted we would struggle as long ball football just doesn’t work now. [/QUOTE]

So the message has made its way as far as the North-East but somehow by-passed S2?

That's more like it, some cocky comments on there, much more confident about tomorrow now, rather read that than oppo fans chucking the towel before the game's even started.

Maybe mixing Sharp with Clarke? Easy mistake to make

That was a lovely hat-trick – early header, a right-footed slotting into the corner (from a great Speed pass), and a trademarked left-foot whack barely a yard out in front of the Kop to end a goalmouth scramble. I thought Sharp was going to go on and have a cracking season – think Blackwell had bombed him out by the end of that season.

Well the QPR have set a new milestone. The dumbest fans in the championship, they must wander around with their eyes shut. There are fans on Jupiter with more knowledge on us than them.
