Cheers Roy , yeh a fair call by PNE lot , I do think it’ll be an end to end game with both teams going for it really could be any result this , big opportunity for Carruthers assuming he’s called in as Flecks replacement . Also big game for our back 3 , Hugill & Barkhuisen are 2 good players who’ll be a hand full , JOC needs lift his concentration levels back to what they were , been a wanting in last month & that’s from a JOC admirer

Like everybody does against us, they will switch formation to a back 3. We need to start expecting it and training to beat a back 3 ourselves.

I was hoping he wasn't, as he's looked quality every time we play Preston. I can understand why he'd look for freekicks as he hits a good one. Bit surprised he's still there (I also don't remember him playing for us on loan, which apparently happened in 2012/13).

Yes he is good at them, but goes down with the slightest touch to get them. Possibly did us twice in one match that season?

He was ok for us without being brilliant. Bit of a crap time for us though. It was the season we had a left hand side of Matt Hill and Marcus Williams for about 6 games

Can't take issue with those comments. Obviously, they want their side to win and look for positives in our misfortunes (Coutts and Fleck), but their comments are respectful and are considered and knowledgeable.

So long as it's not at our expense I hope they do well.

This is the polar opposite to their comments last time they played us (FA cup replay when it was all dome and gloom and they were going to lose easily, hopefully it'll be the opposite result this time!!!)

Don't know. Am not good with stats from 2000. I forget the scores in the recent seasons. It is my age!
