"I’m pretty sure a landmine could go off under one of our players and you wouldn’t see a flicker on a Premier league referees face”

Hmmmm, I wonder... 🤔

I'm sure it wouldn't be too costly for a bit of replacement Desso in the goalmouth, following Tim Krul's 'explosive' bit of shit housing in the second half...

I get what they’re saying about not wanting to play against a side that has recently beaten* Leicester and Spurs, but I’d certainly take playing bottom of the league who have just gone 120 mins + pens three days before this game.

Having said that, I think this game will be a lot tighter than some of us think. It certainly isn’t a gimme, but I do fancy us.

Cheers Roygbiv
I don't!
Spurs have no strikers and are low on confidence
Leicester are having their worst period of the season and vardy hasn't scored for yonks
Just played em both at right time
The first goal is crucial

I still have a strong dislike for them, reckon I actually dislike them more than Leeds.

Fair play. Completely reasonable comments from a set of fans who've seemed anything but that for a while.

I liked watching them play last year. Blame for the being behind dross like Palace and Newcastle has to lie with Farke. Took him way too long to adapt their style to fit not being better technically than the opposition every week. Unlucky with injuries but they had the nucleus to be better than they've been.

Thanks Roy. I am, however, confused, these are Norwich fans right? It seems they have developed some humility & common sense as well as dialling back the bitterness & bile, you know I think some of them are actually starting to like us!
Being bottom of the league for so long does tend to bring a degree of humility with it, apparently ?

We would if it was Norwich.

So, (in all competitions) that's Leicester who have won 1 in 6 and Spurs who have won 1 in 5...…..yeah great achievement Budgies, if I was them I would be a bit more concerned about coming up against a Sheffield United side who's record in the last 9 is won 6, drawn 2 and lost 1.....(and that is us "slipping" a bit....!!!

In all seriousness it will be tough tomorrow, they will come defensively looking for a 1-0 but if we can get an early goal they will have no choice but to come at us....I'm going 3-1 Blades.

Just to make you feel better, we haven’t done the double over Norwich since the war.

Sorry no matter if they say some kind remarks they cheated at the Lane like I have never seen in football before. Let’s help send them down and let’s see Delia spitting her cake all over the place.
They win two games and they they think they are world beaters......I’ve got some news for them for tomorrow . Welcome to hell Carrot crunchers

Did they beat Spurs? I thought they drew the match 1-1.
Our reputation for being over-physical/bullies is a bit of an embarrassment admittedly. Just take a look at our fouls ratio to possession; at our massive accumulation of free kicks and yellow cards, and last but not least, our red card against Billy the dirty little git. I'm feeling almost ashamed to be a Blade. I honestly can't remember us being this thuggish since Cec Coldwell used to kick the hell out of all those unfortunate little left-wingers that you never see anymore.

Haha we are big bullies, only our CBs are big, every team has big CBs. Recently we added Berge. Only McBurnie up top is tall and he is slim.
I don't think that we have scored a header from a set piece this season.

The biggest fear is the ref Hooper he has only been in for 8 PL games and given 20 yellows. They will be falling over from any slight breeze looking for fouls.
We can forget anything from VAR as Lee Mason is in charge for our game .For some reason he always rules against the Blades as a ref .

We are good enough defensively to deal with them.
Second in the league only Liverpool have allowed fewer goals.
Plus they are crap enough at the back to give us chances.
