Sounds like we need to score 2 to win then, after we gift them the obligatory goal they'll shithouse and timewaste as much as possible.

Let's have some pace in the midfield play from the start (if that's possible). These will love sideways and backwards passes in front of their 11 behind the ball.

millwall always reminds of when EFL lost their minds & they won family club of the year. up there with if osama bin laden ever won the nobel peace prize

although on that point we are going to have to be switched on a kick off & drown out the millwall fans because they will highly likely boo when players take the knee. if i remember that infamous gary rowett pre match interview last month when he had to defend the indefensible

Thanks Roy.

Blimey, & I thought our fans were miserable buggers! Let's hope we can jump on them quickly & establish a lead before they bore everyone to death with their negative football. We need to play with a decent tempo & not be fooled into thinking it will be easy, which it could be if we start with the right attitude. Then again we are Sheffield United!

Oh shit - in sharp contrast to the Stoke game we're going to spend most of the time trying to get through a penalty area encampment while at least 3 of our defenders are stood on the halfway line whittling about whether or not one of their lads is going to break out at 90 mph and score. Hope I'm wrong though.....

Didnt realise Millwall v Luton was a London derby

There was an infamous battle in the 80's where they basically destroyed Kenilworth Road. I think it's held in high regard still amongst their fans - think Man U fans boasting about the Treble, Wednesday boasting about QPR away etc.

Rowett is one of those managers who people "in the game" tell everyone how well prepared, meticulous, talented and all round amazing they are. If you disagree they roll their eyes and tell you you don't "get it".

He's shit. Has always been shit. Will always be shit. His teams are shit to watch. Some people are just shit at their jobs. He's one of them

Good work Roy ,I agree with previous poster good club for wilder probably the best sort of club he could hope for .He's been out of work a bit now .......I guess he didn't envisage such a long break when he sloped out of our back door .

Anyway when you have a few minutes I wouldn't mind knowing what you really think of Rowett. 😆

Cheers Roy! They seem an up beat confident bunch alright.
I'll take nowt for granted but surely this has to be an absolute nailed on win?

I bet when Willder slunk out he thought is next job would be bottom half Premier League/very top end Championship club.

I wonder if he could turn the clock back he’d make the same decision?

I think he would have still left but I don't think he would have left in such a chaotic manner by trying to resign multiple times. Ideally we could have done with him leaving much earlier in the season than he did, to at least give a new manager chance to build.

Maybe.

No idea what his thought process was but I thought he'd be back in the game by now with a good Championship job.

Who knows what his next step will be but you do wonder now how high up his next role could be.

His record speaks for itself but you do wonder if a few things from his last season with us have damaged his opportunities somewhat.
