'“Ay up lad is that ground tother yonder see thee Tha can have me sister but not me Hendersons”

Brilliant 😂
Yes. Very impressed with the hendos reference.

They don't sound that interested, overall

I'm amazed that Millwall of all teams can call anyone else tramps. Anyway, the bit about 'me sister' reminded me of a time I was on the Kop and the 'Dingle Family' song was sung at Barnsley (you know, "your sister is your mother, your father is your brother, you're all fucking each other, the Dingle family"). The guy next to me asked what they were singing, and I explained to him. He was fucking disgusted. "How can people sing that?", he asked. Personally I thought it was brilliant.

Used to go on family holidays in Fife, Scotland and went to a few East Fife games with my dad. This is the version of that song they sing to their local rivals, Cowdenbeath:

They come frae near Lochgelly
They havenae got a telly
They're dirty and they're smelly
The Cowden Family

The girls all have moustaches
They've all got nasty rashes
And nae cunt ever washes
The Cowden Family

You went to methil on holidays ?? Like going to Neepsend.
I was up there working once and went to see East Fife play Falkirk in the scottish members cup. Falkirk took a few and they were scrapping outside. Steve Archibald was manager and Andy Gray (the black one) played for one of them. Amazing pie was the highlight😛

I saw that on a TV programme about small Scottish clubs but they only showed the first verse.

Cheers Panchero!

“Northern tramps, we will beat em,and then we will go onto beating the cheating savile loving shit eaters. Fact”
“lets piss on the yorkshire Twats”

This is more like it - Shows some proper attitude to an opposition side, none of this love in nonsense. And a good dig a Weeds too.
Copied. And about to paste the same thing!

I lived in London for 10 years. Looking back, Millwall was probably one of my favorite away grounds.

Play up a bit to their 'Millwall likes us, we don't care label' to the point that it generates some excellent banter.

Bloke in the home end at the side wearing a pink Hackett shirt gets seen by the away fans "does your boyfriend know you're here?" Etc

Never encountered any trouble and there are some decent boozers in Bermondsey.

If I had to support a London club it would be Millwall
good away day these days

Quality away day at Millwall. Proper atmosphere, fans giving it plenty of gusto, decent booze in London Bridge. Milllwall and Charlton are the pick of the London clubs IMHO.

Nah, my grandparents had a caravan in the posh part of Fife, up near St Andrews. Funny part of the world: some beautiful little seaside villages and some extremely deprived former industrial shitholes.

“Yorkshire week for Millwall so the plan is Go in the away end against Sheffield United
pull a bird and go back to Sheffield with her. Stay at hers all week going to Leeds
midweek and Sheffield Wednesday on Sat. After taking me home she’ll feel like she’s won after
Millwall win. “

God do I love me a Millwall view from

Got to disagree there mate, although I totally get that some of our fan base relate to Millwal probably because they're less fashionable and down to earth fans but they've disgraced themselves time and time again over the years with their hooligan element and pretty distasteful songs from memory.

If there was a London club I like its AFC Wimbledon, what with the connections to us and also they've had the heart ripped up from the previous club and still make their way all the way back to the football league.

Remember going to the old Den on 28 December 1987. We lost 3-1 having been 3-0 at half time & Clive Mendoca scored in the second half & Chris Wilder was sent off. Next two matches were losses to Blackburn Rovers 1-4 & Oldham Athletic at home 0-5 resulting in Billy McEwan resigning & Dave Bassett appointed as Manager shortly after. Terrible day at Milwall with the usual trouble even though there was only a crowd of 7000 plus. Hans Segers was in goal for United. As I was living in Leeds at the time we returned to have a meal at The Flying Pizza & as Jimmy Saville was also there we obtained his autograph for my 2 nephews.

Hope we have a better day tomorrow.

Towd Millwau do make me laugh, still one of the few London clubs that haven't gone all poncey. All my cousins down there support Charlton though, first time I saw Millwall was at the Valley when the skinhead had just caught fashion, it was interesting.

Not so sure that was a decent trade :o

Thank you Roy, frightened, nasty and very funny. The old "Cockney Sparra" much like "Northern Folk" in general, Stick mi neck out here, Blades to win three, one or two.

When we went to Orient a few years ago we went drinking down Bethnal Green and ended up drinking with some old Millwall fans ,you could tell they had been proper hard men. They were ex dockers who had adopted Utd as their northern team ,as they came to up to fight the coppers with Kiveton miners during the miners strike and most of the them were Blades. They could drink pints and chasers all day. There was a decent pub called The camel ,bit of a bugger to find ,in the middle of a council estate ,pictures of Dave Boy Green all over ,previous landlords had been Steve Archibald and Terry Fenwick apparently. The best place for pie and peas we were told.

What a sobering thought your penultimate sentence is. Hopefully the offending item has been incinerated.
Believe it will be better today, as now is, moving to the next round to draw t'owls at BDTBL. with Man City at BDTBL after that.

Went to the Old Den loads of times ,couple of times on the coach ,long journey home with the windows out ,another time they followed us in cars for about 10 miles through London. The most sobering was a victory ,Im sure Steve Neville scored ,when amongst all the coins and rocks that were flying over half a telegraph pole came over. We had to wait at the top while they cleared them away ,and some were casually walking about flickinig open flick knives in front of the police. Looked into the car park and there were about a dozen coaches and only 2 cars left ,one of which was our blue cortina (tank). You had to go under a bridge out on to the road which Im sure many will remember and they all waited at the exit. The looks on the other Blades fans faces had us shitting ourselves , but apart from a few objects thrown and a couple of kicks we got away and went down Soho to watch porn and have a night out. It sound horrific and it probably was but different times and the whole weekend was edgy. They are the ones you remember when the football was shite.
