70s football. Them wert days.

First time I went to Bramell Lane I think was 1978/79 season. For some unknown reason the old man wanted to drive. We were late, ended up abandoning the car down some dodgy backstreet. Ran to the ground and just heard the ref whistle to start the game as we entered the turnstiles. Terrible season but this game we won 2-0. Came out the ground and couldn’t remember where we’d left the car. Ended up turning corners we shouldn’t have done walked straight into one of there mobs and got my first good kicking at a football match. Eventually a good hour and a half later found the car jumped in and drove about an hour and broke down. Never been back since. At least we won but still got relegated that season.

I'll read if we win! We seem to have a pretty bad record v millwall at home from memory.

Last seasons match was very typical of millwall and they thoroughly deserved the win in fairness.
