Serious point though, if those posters are truly representative, the negative vibes in the ground could play havoc with the team if they don't start well. It could be a very special night for the Blades if we can somehow score early.
 
Strangely I'm more confident about this game than I was about the Watford game. Although that result is looking better given how they just took villa apart.
 
We have people on here saying "I'd take a point ". But with an underlying feeling that we could get more. At the Etihad. Not so long ago we'd have been grateful for a 0-4 "battling performance ".
The change is breathtaking.

The 'proper' team from their city. Things have moved on from the Shaun Goater and Kinkladze days of course.

3 points would be amazing! A point fantastic.
What team will turn up against us?
A team ready to show the last match was a fluke and out to smash us? Or a team low on confidence and there for the taking?

That's key for me. This match is about how they play. If they turn up at 100%, we get smashed, and no shame in that. If they turn up nervous, tired, or below their best for any reason, we could nick a result.

I love city fans, more like us than any other fans (I think) great set of comments

been to see them a few times with me late uncle Les (true city fan) back in the 70’s. Main road was scary as all football was then

up the blades let’s do them 2 nil
 
Apart from a couple of idiots they seem quite reasonable, which is in stark contrast with the "always the victims, never our fault" excuse machines of City fans you actually experience in real life here whenever they don't win by four
 



They probably have just realised the title has gone and are just over reacting, I doubt the team will have the same mindset as the fans which worries me a bit.
 
I'm probably way off, but the last time I remember playing against a team with Kyle Walker in the swuad, was when he was playing for villa; didn't he score and refuse to celebrate?

What will be will be, for what it’s worth I think there’s a possibility of a result if we’re at 0-0 or better at HT

WTF, like seriously WTF, premier league champions Manchester city and their fans are predicting a loss at home to newly promoted Sheffield United, I am truly living in some sort of parallel universe where I'm still poor and butt ugly but my team is considered an equal of Manchester city WTF

We have more of a chance in this one than at Anfield. We need them to be off their best to stand a chance obviously but it's not as much of a nightmare game as we would have thought.

Saying that, I still wouldn't be shocked if we get dicked 4 or 5 🤷‍♂️ The quality they have is just silly.

I'll go for a 4-2 defeat, with a 5% chance we come away with something special instead
