These are the games I hate at this point in the season Luton will be scrapping for their lives, it will not be pretty in fact knowing Luton it will be really ugly.
We need to stay disciplined and focussed for the 3pts.

Had a meteoric rise, then got very smug despite still being just slightly less shit and are now settling back down to where they belong.

they are very poor Marra. I expected a bit of fight from them but they gave almost nothing. I can't see how they survive.

I remember when you were relegated from the prem and dropped straight down to league one. We played you Boxing Day and you were all over the shop. The wheels can come off a lot quicker than one imagines.

We/Sunderland have just played them at home. They were absolutely shite. Looked to me as though they have settled for relegation and had the look of SAFC about them when we dropped through 2 divisions. Can't see any result but a Sheffield United win by 4 or 5.

We'd sooner get relegated than score 4 or 5

The club was in complete freefall; at that time we were the poorest run club in England and it showed. We were signing players simply to make 11. I'm not quite sure how we never went into administration given that we entered League 1 with a £130m debt.

A boardroom squabble in 86/87 had seen us implode previously - the first time we were in division 3; 1987/88 - and at the heart of almost every downtrodden club is a fractured boardroom.
