Bit short of the usual vitriol.......................

Ahead of the clash, Bielsa had special praise for Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder.

“I would say the Sheffield United head coach is someone with new ideas and I have seen very few people with these ideas,” said Bielsa.

“Head coaches look at colleagues to learn from them and we want to learn new things, not what everyone else is doing.

“Usually when you observe someone, you don’t observe what you see everyday, you observe new things.

“The ideas of our next opponent deserve to be studied.

“What I try to do is make the public realise the different styles of football and my goal is to make the fans value this part of the game, which they wouldn’t normally value.

“When I am talking about these features of the opponent, I have the same goal.

“I saw things in Sheffield United that I wanted to develop and I couldn’t do it, I I don’t know the history of the head coach, but he has done very well.”

“Sides only have 35 % of possession on ave vs leeds so they might not be seeing much of the ball”

Okay

90% really nice, complimentary comments. This doesn’t sit well with me, very uncomfortable.
Bear in mind that they are from the literate element of their fan base and therefore not representative.

You'll feel better about things when you see the usual fucktards ripping up seats and smacking random passers by.

Yep - same for us too.

“57 games and counting since we last had a penalty”

This worries me more than anything, wish you hadn't included this comment Roy :-)
I'm a nervous wreck now.

Cheers Roy just be us as mr wilder says,
Sounds like they hoping for a penalty ! Utb

Don't think we've given one away since Derby on New Year's Day: 45 games and counting. I'm ignoring the fact that O'Connell would have conceded one on the opening day of this season had Dhanda not scored from the loose ball but either way, I wouldn't worry about it: we're not going to let Leeds near our area :)

As an aside: thanks Roygbiv as ever, tempered with mild disappointment at your lack of dedication.

Incredibly astute and reasonable comments apart from the last few. I reckon Roy adds a few of these in just for some balance.

Same result as last season's home game for me. Sharp to score first.
