Joking aside - Thanks Roy, love reading these and always good to hear how other fans interpret the game. Since Monday, myself included, have commented on how the media are still talking about Leeds. Yet this comment would suggest it's maybe just in or psyche.

"I know it won’t happen but I would love to see us take a point. Nothing against Sheff U, in fact I quite like them, but the constant comments from pundits like it’s a done deal are annoying me”

I think I nice early goal is in order tomorrow - think Reading where after 35 seconds we’d taken the lead and never looked back!!

I still don’t understand why little teams like Ipswich call us blunts what have we ever done to them it seems more and more fans of other clubs are starting to refer to us as blunts
I don't see them as a 'little' team at all, they have punched above their weight in Europe in the eighties and the start of this century, we've never done that. They've won trophies in my lifetime in Europe and domestically, and traditionally been a good team to watch. In the last 30-40 years they've had a world class manager and numerous top international players. Their team in the early eighties with the Dutch influence was a superb side. Personally, I think they've done well and hope they bounce back quicker than we did. Let's just get the job done tomorrow. Perhaps they don't like us because we patronise them, by calling them 'little'.

Cheers Roy. They’re not very optimistic, don’t understand why??. Lol
Really buzzing about the game tomorrow but trying to keep myself busy at work to stop thinking about it!!!. It’s not working though!!!. UTB. COYRAWW. ⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️

“Paul Lambert does not do park the bus and grab a goal on the break-if he did we might not be getting relegated"

isnt that the reason why they were screaming for Mick McCarthy to be sacked 12months ago, because it was boring football

“Their biggest game since they bottled a straightforward home game against Wigan to stay in the Premier League"

you what o_O both teams had to win the match to surive in the premier league

If there is ONE thing I could ask for it is this.

I will presume they are poor simply because they don't park the bus and try and play football, how most Ipswich teams I can remember have from the past.

If they want to play football, then we will murder them because there will be space all over the pitch.

We took Hull apart in the first half on Monday because they too wanted to play football and get forward.

Couldn't have asked for anything better.

They've achieved plenty in my lifetime. And they had a good few called up for Germany and the Allies in Escape to Victory.

Feel sorry for Ipswich fans, they're a proper footy club like us. Should have kept MM.

“We’ll try to play to win but they’ll barely notice.”

Brilliant! :D I hope it’s true though. We always do better against teams that try to win and end up leaving gaps.

Do we?

West Brom, Bristol City - came to win and did.
Pigs, Millwall - came for a point, got a point

Each game will play out as it does. However Ipswich decide to play, we should be confident. If the result didn't have such a huge bearing on our season we wouldn't be having half these conversations.

Yes.

Generally if teams sit back we don’t break them down as easily as the ones that attack us; the pigs being a prime example. The only time we seem to struggle against teams attacking us is in the last ten minutes when we inexplicably sit ten men on the edge of our area and try to clear it to nobody, inviting pressure back on.

Dont even go there. If thats what its like in last 10 tomorrow I'll be watching from St Marys church.

I would add that hopefully Ipswich’s game plan won’t matter one bit. They’re bottom for a reason and we’re second for a reason. Fingers still crossed and stomach still churning though.

Anyone who was at our 1997 second leg playoff match against Ipswich will have little love for the club and fans (and Mauricio Taricco). I don't care how bad a state they are in now, I want us to smash them, send a message to Leeds that this is over!

“It’s what the play off final would be if third place got to hand pick their opponent.”

Now that's a magnificent assessment.
Hope we don't treat it like the play-offs though!

It should win "View From Comment of the Season" if there were such a thing.
