They are desperate to feel some sense of identity and so resort to some pseudo hate projection, or other such bollocks. It's there to justify them having a couple of seasons in the top division when someone threw enough coin at the club to get a short term level of success. Now that has all gone sour, and they are slowly drifting back to a level if obscurity and irrelevance, they feel the need to relate themselves to something, almost tangible.

They struggled to beat our third division team in an FA cup semi final when they were at their peak. Now they are in decline there is very little for them to cling on to that inspires any hope so they are latching onto the opposite. Some hate that will sustain their long, long rerd to nowhere.
‘rerd’
i see what you did there :)

Ken Knighton - definitely up there with Billy Bremner, Norman Hunter, "Chopper" Harris and Norman Curtis (now how many will recognise that last name?)

I fully agree but they are like a dying fish still thrashing about trying to get back into water. One of those thrashes could end up being against us. Now that they have missed out on the playoffs they will have to cut their cloth again next season, they still have some good players left this season which could hurt us. Next season they will have to sell the salable players meaning they won't be able to do as well as they have this season dropping further back. Then what plastics they built up will drift away meaning even less revenue and therefore returning back to their natural place league 1 / 2, their plastic adventure over and return to the days they were at Boothferry. I had some respect for them then as that was what their community built not a plonked stadium out of nowhere and sugar daddy.

Fuck Hull and all their part time 'supporters'. 14,116 crowd when the Blades could have taken 5-10k. They're in financial trouble yet turn away many thousands of customers. The sooner they're back in League One (and Badkins is just the manager to do that) the better.

Shit town. Shit club. Shit fans.

I was in Hull end, Sat happy in my own world been respectful. Noticed because I don’t stick 49404 extra eeerrrrrrs in my vocabulary!

Got spat on, told where to go and the lot!

Makes today so much sweeter!

Best thing in Hull is the A165 north bound or M62 running away!
