Wow, they really love us.

Thanks Roy.

As I’ve said before, I just don’t get this hatred they have for us. It’s way out of proportion to anything that may have happened donkeys years ago. It’s one sided, I don’t consider them rivals in any sense of the word and you’d think they were from the other side of the city with the bile they spout.

As for slagging one of the games true greats like Alan Woodward, words fail me.

Really hope we stuff these half wits.

Anyone who ever whinges about us going OTT with our rivalry with the Pigs, this is what the alternative is - peculiar bitterness which leaves everyone else scratching their head and wondering why. Be thankful we’ve got someone who resents us as much as we resent them. :)

There never has been enough variety in the gene pool around the coastal areas of England.

They are desperate to feel some sense of identity and so resort to some pseudo hate projection, or other such bollocks. It's there to justify them having a couple of seasons in the top division when someone threw enough coin at the club to get a short term level of success. Now that has all gone sour, and they are slowly drifting back to a level if obscurity and irrelevance, they feel the need to relate themselves to something, almost tangible.

They struggled to beat our third division team in an FA cup semi final when they were at their peak. Now they are in decline there is very little for them to cling on to that inspires any hope so they are latching onto the opposite. Some hate that will sustain their long, long rerd to nowhere.

Wow that’s a deep inferiority complex they have......C’mon Blades let’s rub it in.

I have no idea why they hate us but it does make them look very, very tinpot when we only think about them when we are playing them. They hate Wednesday and Leeds too. Two other clubs who think about them twice a season.

It's simple. Like Wednesday if they get one over on their bigger and betters, it makes their season regardless of where their own team finish up. It's pure bitterness. For their brief spell in the PL, Hull fans put down their Hull KR scarves and dressed in noncy 'tiger' babygrows.

A couple of years ago - on this forum - somebody asked 'What's Hull like?' The reply couldn't be bettered:

'Think the Hole in the Road - a shithole with a fish tank.' :D

Cheers Panchero!

Struggling a bit with this one though, why all the hatred from Hull? What has caused that?, they are a nothing club from a nothing part of the country and talk about us and Weeds as if we are big rivals of theirs?

OK, they have a big bridge, I'll give them that, it connects them to that other powerhouse, Grimsby.

How dare they refer to Colin Morris as a dirty bastard.....and as for those comments about Woodward, leaves me breathless.

If ever a player epitomised the silky skills of a great winger it was Morris, but never, ever dirty. Outrageous claims that needs to be apologised for.

I can not work out if the person who posted that has issues or was just trying to be funny.
I mean you wouldn't name Colin Morris even if you had to name 1 million dirty bastard Professional footballers with Perms from the 70's & 80's who played for both Sheffield United & Blackpool.
