Great to be back. They're a miserable bunch though.

Every day’s a learning day, I just googled Herbert Chapman, I knew that he managed Huddersfield and Arsenal and that he was also won the FA Cup and Charity Shield with both teams. When I were a lad they were one of only two teams to have won Division One three years in a row. There really is some history there.
If I've got my facts straight (counting to three is harder than it looks) then:
Huddersfield Town were League Champions in 1923/24, 1924/25, and 1925/26.
Arsenal were League Champions in 1932/33, 1933/34, and 1934/35.
Nobody else won the League three seasons in a row till Liverpool did it in 1981/82, 1982/83, and 1983/84.
Since then Man United have done it twice in the Premier League.
He played in that matchEvery day’s a learning day, I just googled Herbert Chapman, I knew that he managed Huddersfield and Arsenal and that he was also won the FA Cup and Charity Shield with both teams.
What I didn’t know until just now was that he was from Kiveton Park and that he played 21 games for us in the early 1900’s. Imagine how different our history might have been if he’d managed us at some point, we were a pretty big club in those days?
Very sorry to hear that, stay strong mate.My brother is a Wednesday fan
I'd be miserable too if I lived in HuddersfieldFirst.
Miserable fuckers these Hudders boys
This man has watched proper football. Not whizzing rounding a £100 billion monorail to a purpose built Qatari stadium for £10 alcohol free lager. No doom n gloom from this Terrier.
“Proper football is back
None of this International nonsense
Six pints beforehand
A ropey pie at half time
And a 3-0 defeat
Bring it on “

And the other game against them, away, ended 3 2 to Huddersfield.Back in the day I remember beating them away in the cup and a screamer from
Agana at Leeds road then beating them at home 5-1 or 5-2. If memory serves me correctly Simon Tracey made his league debut in the latter. I remember duffield scoring a penalty just before halftime and a lovely long range effort just after. Happy days.
Thanks UAB, I knew we lost the other game but couldn't remember the score for the life of me.And the other game against them, away, ended 3 2 to Huddersfield.
Agana scored two.
