Welcome back Roy’s view!

I enjoyed the optimistic ‘Blackpool, Rotherham and Birmingham have all taken points at Bramall Lane’ immediately being followed by ‘yes, but they’re all better than us’

Cheers Panchero!

Not first and not bothered

😭

Cheers Roy

Now then Town boys no no no shit house win for you like last time….Blases to put you lot to the sword uncompromising

Thanks Roy welcome back

Typical Yorkshire optimism, they should get summet then.
Bit of a lottery from where I stand, Blades should not loose but believe most Blades are apprehensive.
Lets see who turns up shall we.
Thank you Roy.

Thanks Roy.

I have a feeling this match will be featured in the definition of "Park The Bus"

No mention of Huddersfield's good record at the Lane. They have beaten us more times in history than we have beaten them

AT LAST!!!
Cheers Roy, now let's get back to proper football!!!
COYRAWW!!!

God, I hate it when they are pessimistic, especially when they are really, really pessimistic.
We seem to struggle to break through teams that park the bus, we always play shit after international break. And have we got 16 players who are not injured (or 11 even?)
Christmas might be coming early for them

HUZZAH! Welcome back Roy. I'm at a loss at what to say after the break. What's that Huddersfield? A ropey pie at half time? You betcha!

Are they going to park the bus? I don’t think I’ve seen them play under the new manager and I note they’ve drawn quite a few since he took over but he’s coached quite a bit in Germany and, from what I’ve seen in the Bundesliga, they don’t seem too concerned about defending. I’m expecting them to but that’s because it’s what most teams that come to the Lane do. I watched them a couple of times early in the season and I thought they were terrible.

cheers Roygbiv

How far they've fallen. Astonishing really
When I were a lad they were one of only two teams to have won Division One three years in a row. There really is some history there.

If I've got my facts straight (counting to three is harder than it looks) then:

Huddersfield Town were League Champions in 1923/24, 1924/25, and 1925/26.

Arsenal were League Champions in 1932/33, 1933/34, and 1934/35.

Nobody else won the League three seasons in a row till Liverpool did it in 1981/82, 1982/83, and 1983/84.

Since then Man United have done it twice in the Premier League.
