I met a Gillingham fan yesterday at work, not quite as painful as I feared. Reckons that as long as teams turn up underestimating Gillingham (who are apparently doing strong work behind the scenes) then they will continue to surprise. But also the concern that teams won't continue to underestimate them and consequently he has the worry that he team won't be strong enough to maintain a challenge. He agreed with me that Blades clearly the stronger team and that the three points they had from us are the only ones this season... although we did have the conversation as I was assessing his driving for a job...
I can only hope they continue to surprise other teams and take points off them, but not too many...
