“I was there when we sent Wednesday down. Had to be done but it wasn’t joyful
I would have loved for United to have held on long enough for it to have been us that sent them down.”

I was at The City Ground in 1993, had to be done, and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed it.
likewise, also remember them giving Cloughy abuse, we started chanting ‘1 Brian Clough’ and he took a step towards us and applauded, since then realised bunch of self obsessed wankers, lose the rest I don’t care, just stick one on these please

I'm not surprised at the comments, I actually find the Scab chant embarrassing, it's an absolutely puerile display on the part of our fans.

However, Forest is, as a whole, an arrogant bunch of twats who had the great good fortune to stumble across the best manager of the 70s, otherwise they'd have a nonedescript 120 year record on a par with Coventry or Stoke. A big club they are not.

I've always liked County better. Me Duck.

"“i’m expecting a cagey opening 10 minutes and then a comfortable 3-0 win to the famous team. If we blunder a game of this magnitude to an opposition that wouldn’t look out of place on your local park then we don’t deserve our place in this division”

Sorry. I cannot agree with that. Our defence will concede at least one goal. We don't keep clean sheets.

I don't like them any more after reading that although TBF I wasn't trying that hard. After a shitstorm of a season only dragging them down with us can console me now.

This is all we have left this season.
We owe these scabby, dog nonces for Billy Sharp.

Hopefully the players haven't forgotten that night.
I would love this to be the sliding doors moment for Forest. The one they look back on as the game that sent them into a decade long spiral and financial ruin.

Can't stand them.

If we have any pride left in us, we'll go full noise on Saturday and throw everything at it.

Cheers Roy :)

“When I worked in sheffield half the office staff were Blunt fans, the rest (bar me) were Owl fans.
The Owl fans were intelligent and articulate, and had a good sense of humour *(specially the little minx in credit control!!).
The blunts fans… were not.”
Must have been his sister 🤔
*sense of humour when he cornered her by the photocopier, dropped his trollies and showed her his miserable, stumpy little Hampton.

‘Oh mister Nottingham, what an unfortunately tiny little offering. I was hoping for a Tony Woodcock and ended up with Des Lyttle’

‘Sorry miss piggy, it’s renowned as being quite a size In the backward little village where I live’

‘Perhaps it maybe the same among the pink side of the office Desmond, but those big lads from S2 have quite the appendages let me tell you. Now (tiny) nob off to the stationary cupboard and see to yourself ’

So began his hatred of the Red and White Wizard.

I think we’ll win this. Fuck these cunts. They’ve watched highlights yeh but we’ll take our chances in this one.

Could be worse we could be a bunch of cheating cunts who spunked a fortune on 8 million players and are still shite . Blades beat these shithouses and all is forgiven . Do it for Billy !

The whole Forest club seems to have gone off the rails in their current spat with the FA.
It’s unprecedented and will probably involve a huge fine.
It defies logic that they took that approach when there can only be one outcome.

Hi Stegosaurus here

They have a fair point. We harp on about the miner's strike like a bitter ex and it was nearly 40 years ago. Time to get over it. Most of the fans now weren't even a spunk in daddy's ball bag.

Some are still, understandably, bitter.

I’m not getting into an exchange about this as it’s been done to death many times on here, but just a reminder that the consequences of the strike impact on our communities every day.

It is true that mainstream politics and most people have moved on, but this is football and tribal rivalry and that is what we do - celebrate our proud non-scabbing heritage and try to goad the other lot.

The ‘daddy’s ball bag’ excuse is disingenuous - or can we not sing about anything pre-1984? No ‘Woodward or Currie’, no ‘Boxing Day’, no ‘1889’? If you don’t like the chant don’t join in, but I think remembering important events (and chucking a bit of class based politics into it) is a good thing.

I know many see the scab chant as a simple fan insult without the weight of history, but like others have said I think it hurts a bit. I’d be devastated if it was us.

Deeewnt bullie meh! Deeeewnt bullie meh!

Ha ha ha fuck me it’s like a weeble conference. Don’t bullie meh, don’t bullied meh….ha ha ha X😂😂

Loving the tubby bloke in the red shirt who gets covered in ale in the first ‘attack’, then gets more spilt on him by his pal as he tries to peace keep.

I’m no advocate of violence whether at football or not, but that was fucking brilliant.

It’ll be a more interesting game if Luton win tonight, putting the scabs in the relegation zone when we play them.

I won't pretend I was neutral toward them before but whats happened since their promotion has really seen them skyrocket into the stratosphere of cuntitude.

Starting with the semi final and Billy getting taken out. A fair few of them felt ashamed and chucked some money to charity and fairplay for that. But the howling and shitflinging soon took hold when the criticism wasn't immediately replaced by universal praise. Soon it was our players fault for being there and Djed Spence getting a ball pushed into his midriff by Hecky was somehow a comparable or even worse assault.

The whole McBurnie trial where the club tried its best to deny any and all failures that led to the situation. Again, all our players fault for everything rather than the club failing to protect players from tubby dog nonce and company. They managed to dodge any meaningful punishment for that one but still somehow had the balls to claim they were hard done by.

Them buying every player with a pulse and then the sanctimonious posts by a fan group to 'educate' us all on the genius of their transfer strategy. They've sure been proven right, haven't they?

The club itself wading onto social media trying to argue Luton, (fucking Luton!) are part of the Premier League illuminati, indulging in Eyes Wide Shut style orgies with the PGMOL to concoct ways to send poor Forest down. And rather than being embarrassed by it, their fans, with the self awareness of fucking compost, lap it up. Obviously there's a conspiracy to send them down, how else to explain the weak as piss points deduction for a bigger FFP breach than everton. The fact one of their fans blithely wandered onto their forum to try and get an anti-PL protest going and staggered out baffled as to why everton fans were calling him a wanker sums them up.

Speaking of a lack of self-awareness: whinging about referee decisions not going their way and insisting they're the victims of dubious decisions based on favouritism, conveniently ignoring how they benefitted from the dubious decisions based on favouritism to get into the premier league in the first place. Huddersfield were denied 2 nailed on penalties in the playoff final by a ref with a twattish reputation. They revelled in it then, mocking huddersfield and maintaining a weirdly intense grudge against a defeated adversary (similar to the one they have against us) presumably for having the audacity of feeling aggrieved.

Yet now everyone should feel sorry for them.

Summary: they're twats, they touch dogs. And they'll probably win comfortably. And I'm not bitter.

Also thanks Roy and I wouldn't bother with the view from if we lose.

Where did you find that last comment Roy? 🤣
Tbf I know a Forest fan who is sound.

P.S Fuck off Dog Nonce
P.P.S Double fuck off headbutt wanker

Been chatting about this in the pub tonight after work and it's made me think about my Forest view over my lifetime.

I'm literally a year or so too young to remember them winning the European Cup back to back. My earliest vivid football memories are Spurs winning the FA Cup (watched both games), Liverpool winning the European Cup, and us getting relegated to Division 4 😆

I genuinely liked Forest through the 80s and have always been a big Cloughie fan.

Being brought up in a mining village (Killamarsh) with family in the mining industry, my feelings have always been that way inclined despite being young at that time.

My first local that I frequented for many years was full of 'owd miners' some of whom have become close friends as we got older and 10 or 15 years older suddenly means nothing.

What's a bit bizarre to me is that I went from being part of the scab chanters to thinking this is a bit sad now maybe 20 years ago.

But for the last 5 years I'm suddenly fully back on board and I'm struggling to think of another club outside of the Pigs I've such animosity towards.

The carry on after the play off 2nd leg was the cherry on top in recent years.

I grew up in a mining village on the outskirts of Sheffield, (Swallownest) I saw first hand the devastation the strike caused. Thriving pubs and shops boarded up almost over night never to reopen, families split apart and brothers / fathers/ sons who have never spoken to each other since.
I was never personally involved with mining but I will never forget the pain and misery that strike caused and those scabs coming out of work waving wage packets at the pickets while hiding behind a wall of police still makes me angry.
Nothing embarrassing about reminding them of this at every opportunity.

I only want four things tomorrow, home wins for Birmingham, Plymouth, Sunderland and United. Lets see the 🐷 🐷 of S6 and Nottingham relegated.
I'd sooner have Leeds than these cunts they really are the East Midlands equivalent of the grunters. As for the work shy comments I had to go and work in Mansfield on many occasions to cover for the Nottingham branch of our agency who were always swinging the lead, idle bastards they were, didn't even have the intelligence to fill the paper work in correctly probably had too many fingers. I wonder if the Dog Nonce will show his face in Sheffield 🤔 hopefully he does and gets it rearranged.
