Lovely View From. Thats probably the best of the season. Can't see us beating them, sadly, unless we have suddenly overcome our defensive issues.
I was there in 93 when we sent them down, I took no pleasure from their demise, never once chanted Scabs at them and didn't wish any ill on them. Applauded them and Clough after the game. It was respectful from what i remember
Beating them in the FA Cup under Clough (2014?) was fantastic, they were a so called big club from the league above, expected to beat us, but we had quality, pashun and fight that day, lots of things that they didn't have
I wasn't at the play off semi at the lane in 2003, but was in a bar in Cologne watching it alongside a Forest fan that just happened to be there, nice fella, wished us well.
So i didn't really have any bad feelings towards them until that play off semi defeat a couple of years back, fair play that they won the game, we did well that night and were perhaps unlucky. But the way their fans and their club behaved after the game was disgusting.
For such a big and famous club, they sit just a few points above us, any other season they'd be practically down without points deductions, but given that ourselves and Burnley have, for the most part, been so uncompetitive they're still in with a chance of staying up.
Their manager seems a decent fella, but hopefully we can pull something out of the bag to claw back some respect for ourselves and to also make things a little sqeaky for them in the next couple of games.
Personally, i'd rather Forest come down than Luton, it's a hard one between Burnley and Forest but i think Forest edge it since they may also have to have a firesale to keep within their means.
