Bit disappointed they dont think we’re all a bunch of wheelchair tipping, kidney punching yorkshire cunts tbh.

On a serious note. Everton away the other year when we all thought Moussett would be a world beater still ranks as one of the very best away days I’ve had following United. Great city, great boozers (apart from McCooleys: wankers) and gracious fans. Ended up in an everton pub opposite the ground after the game and every single one of them we spoke to was brilliant.

“After the season we’ve had it’d be lovely to kick back and watch us absolutely demolish a team… I’m sure it won’t be that easy though!”

On that basis, then surely we have priority on kicking back and watching us absolutely demolish a team.

Would be our luck that, under the circumstances with regards to available “defenders”, Wilder hits upon a brilliant formation and we keep a clean sheet 🙄

Ditto. We had a great crack with their fans that day.

Caught the bus back to the city centre after the game and an Everton fan gave my son his programme.

One of my favourite grounds too. Only disappointment for me is that I was hoping that we'd be the last team to play them there in a proper game until the next ground opening got put back.

These lot are a very decent bunch. I mean, they will have some dickheads (as do we), but on the whole, they are quite self aware. Except for thinking that the Premier League are out to get them, and ignoring the obvious fact that if they truly were out to get them, they’d probably have gone by now!

“Play the Under 12s.” 🤣 🤣 🤣

Cheers Roy!

Sheffield Utd winning 2-1 then at 65 minutes someone press the fire alarm.

Remember that well. Nice day, sunny. I was walking in to town to meet some lass for a date. Things were a bit rubbish early on and because of that I was keeping an eye on the scores coming in in the bar we was in. Reyt cheered me up it was an indication we might be able to compete in this league!

Never saw her again. Didn't see much more of Lys either afterwards come to think of it.

“Looking forward to this one!
Sheffield are a vastly inferior team in every department…
Sheffield are already relegated and have only pride to play for…
Everton are already safe from relegation and have only prize money to play for…
Everton have home advantage… indeed our final home game of the season…
Everton 1-3 Sheffield”

I was getting a bit wound up until I saw the last line - and even that wound me up a little

One shot on target and we won 2-0. Perfect!

Thank you Roy.

Wouldn’t blame you for getting on the beach early. This season has been an absolute clusterfuck

Two things stood out to me from that.

1. They're playing for pride.

- clearly that haven't seen us play!

2. BBD

- I was talking to someone earlier about BBD and by coincidence I said he'd be great signing and a good fit for Everton.

“Proper bogey team for us.
I’ve liked every Sheff U fan I’ve met – sound people to a man"

Clearly never been on this forum

Cheers Royston
