Not sure whether I be worried or not.

“I can see us winning but we needn’t to play better than Saturday“

I’ve marked them down for a lazy effort, no mention of Blunts or the now expected Sharpe 6/10 for effort..

I usually go all over the place for the comments but to be honest my hangover is such that j can barely see so didn't cast my net as wide as I normally do.
In trying to decode this message using my super duper SETI message algorithm decription computer on the above I can only conclude that we will get the Derby post match view next xmas then....:oops::oops::tumbleweed::D

We need a win. My son and grandson are going (grandson age 7 and huge Billy Sharp fan) but my son in law is a sheepbotherer and my daughter a pig! (Hangs head in shame). We have to slaughter both the pig and the sheep with a mighty blade!

We are going to score first, miss a few chances and end up losing 2-1.

For it is foretold by the rule of playing decent teams. Amen
I was thinking the same tbh. I haven't seen much evidence this season that we can play well for 90 minutes and unfortunately that's what it needs to beat the better teams in this division.

The game at Derby was the start of our downturn.
Conceded after 18 seconds without touching the ball because we'd already settled for a draw before a ball was kicked

After conceding we controlled the game totally and got our deserved equaliser. There could now only be one winner

However after equalising a couple of minutes before half time we slumped back into our play for a draw mode and after doing nothinf for 40 minutes Derby had two good chances and could have still gone in 3-1 up despite our dominance

The second half started, and with our players already satisfied that they were getting the draw they'd originally set out for they tried to hold onto it

We've hardly played with as much fluency as the first half at Derby since

Can't see anything other than defeat - soz but we don't seem to have fight in our locker at the moment.........

An interesting fixture but it always lacks the bite you would expect of a game between two clubs based so close to one another.

Another draw beckons I think.
Today lacked bite in first half.
Second half was like being thrown into a pool of sharks.

Before the game I read this and it stuck with me because you'd hit the nail on the head.
As the final whistle went I thought about this and the fact you had a bit of a crisis and could not make the game, (was that right)?
I then thought about it being the thing you were looking for from our players and how frustrating it would have been to miss it.
It may all be secondary though if your crisis turns out to be a big one?
Thoughts with you either way. Hope everything comes good.

Wasn’t my crisis was just trying to help out my nephew in law, but thanks for the thoughts :)
During that second half I couldn’t help laughing at my post pre match because we showed such resilience and guts, I was very proud to see it. It’s something we’ve been missing a bit of late, but we got it in spades yesterday.
