For me, "The View From..." is a good excuse for a hearty laugh and a (very) occasional pearl of wisdom that I hadn't thought about because of my inherent biases.

I don't know why so many get so wound up reading pre-judged opinions about our own side by gobshites? I pay a little bit of attention to the league and I know next to nothing about Coventry City, who plays for them, or how they go about things. Do Willie Carlin and Ernie Hunt still take their free kicks?

Wasps is the closest Champ ground to me - Cov have always been a deluded set of fans.
View their own football as pure and everyone else as kick and rush.
Always laud it when they've won and always cried foul or, "you were just lucky," when they lose.
A set of fans that always scream for the decisions on free kicks (when it's a 50:50 physical challenge) or handballs and believe it was just a robust challenge when it's the opposite way.

That SISU protest, December 2016, when the balls were on the pitch and the whistles being blown when we had possession but not when they had possession.

Couldn't comprehend that it was an unfair demonstration that affected one team in the league and not others.
I get that they feel they have shitty owners - but they should never have moved from Highfield Road - better ground than the soulless bowl that is/was the Ricoh and couldn't fill it anyway (without opposition support from the top league club's fans).
Only decent thing about the new place is the Purity Ale in the ground.

'Sisu' in Finnish means strength, perseverance in a task that for some may seem crazy to undertake, almost hopeless.

To be fair.
We got schooled.
We were rubbish and they were excellent.
Crowd was loudest I’ve heard at the Ricoh - so well done for that.
Also, spoke to several fans after the game and even though they absolutely dicked us, they were pretty magnanimous in victory and not at all gloaty.
