What a sick bastard the person is who wrote ......." Blades celebrating a promotion….no f..kin thanks….oh and if you do go wear a black suit and tie as it will be the end of season Blunts Death Roll Call for 20 mins delaying ko…in fact that would be only highlight….knowing the’re are less of them than a year ago”
What is that cunt count on about?
What roll call?
Sick bastard.

...and always will be as long as the board keep cashing in. Same goes for Barnsley. After a superb rise from bottom of League One to promotion last season (sounds familiar), they 'rewarded' their fans by flogging Winnall and Hourihan. They got away with it. For now.
Should be remembered that Winnall and Hourihane refused to sign contract extensions so the club had only the JTW to get some value from their best assets before the inevitable of losing them for nothing this summer. Most clubs would have done the same. If the players really wanted to stay they could have done but who would blame them for getting the massive increase in pay. It would have been interesting had they been able to keep the bext players because in January Barnsley were just two points behind the pigs and closing in on a play off spot.

Giving it large at the start of the season, thinking they were better than they actually are, should have shown more class and I may have some sympathy

I remember the fella ringing in to Football Heaven (yes, yes.... I know) after about the fourth match when we were rock bottom & they were riding high. Went on about how he couldn't wait for Chesterfield to play us & that we'd bottled signing Evans & would come to regret as he fired 20+ in for them this season.
It's a shame they can't get him back on & replay his call back to him.

“We’ll be singing loud and clear “Spireite til I die, bring on the deedahs””

The line above speaks volumes for what a "proper" Chesterfield fan is. 10 out of 10.

“why would any self respecting town fan go to this match..beggers belief”

The line above speaks volumes about why Chesterfield are where they are.
Think back to the Blades fans who went all the way down to Swansea last game of the season - got done 3 nil and were applauded by the Swansea fans when leaving. If you were one of those Blades fans, then Sunday, for you, should be even more special.

It was 4-0 I think! Great day to say the situation our football club was in was dire. Poor ol' George Long's debut and all.

Had a great weekend and got applauded out of the stadium by Swansea fans. I'll never forget that.

Just went to show that Blades are Blades whether we're romping away with the league or going down with a whimper.

Something crooked about chesterfield.........just can't put my finger on it.

I was at that game but won't be there on Sunday, I just enjoy suffering!

I really hope one of their lot dies on Sunday, because they really can't afford to have even fewer fans. There must be at least one poor bastard due a coronary, considering Chesterfields sub-poverty standards of living.
You always have to take that one step further and cross the line don't you?

If you have mental issues then seek help and until you do you'd be doing yourself a favour of you stayed offline.

You make me puke.

At the game on Sunday I will look over to the Chesterfield fans and remind myself of all the 'been there done that' occasions.

Total respect for any Chesterfield fan who attends Bramall Lane on Sunday, including my cousin. Been there , done that, it's just a different level because we are 'lucky enough' to support a 'big club'. Perspective? Expectations? It's hard, very hard when you care.

Just imagine what it's like to be where they have been, punching above their weight, that's us when maybe the other bigger 30 clubs than us see us turn up to watch our team, our club, our heritage.

Chesterfield fans in S2 on Sunday, I respect you more than I can express. I hope our fans are hospitable and polite.

I hope we smash them out of sight. I have respect for all the Chesterfield fans that will turn up, and utter contempt for those that don't. I went to Swansea when we were relegated, and was proud to support my team, despite relegation, and despite a 0-4 hammering. I just can't comprehend the idea of "not going cos they're going up and we're shit." It's a cop-out, and it marks them down as second-rate supporters in my opinion.

That said, after all their pre and early season bollocks about "overtaking us" and "Ched firing us to promotion," I sincerely hope we paste them 5 or 6 nil. It would be a fitting conclusion to a wonderful season, and a way to put the upstart "neighbours" well and truly in their place.

Good post apart from you estimate of 30 bigger clubs. Way way too many.

It's quite strange as being someone who has lived in Chesterfield most of my life and still have a house whilst I'm away I've never understood this view from the supreme race of "Sheffielders".

I can pretty much guarantee as a resident of Chesterfield I have always had a better standard of living than the kind of numpty from Sheffield who makes stupid comments about the town. It's like me driving through the Manor and declaring Sheffield a shithole or walking down Castle Market and assuming everyone in Sheffield stinks of piss, drinks special brew and wears wank clothes.

Granted a trip down Ches high street throws up a fairly high percentage of basket cases, but Fargate isn't exactly brimming with supreme genetics now is it?!

The football fans of Chesterfield are a weird breed and seem to hate Sheffield teams but no more than Barnsley or Rotherham do, it's to be expected from a satellite town, it's envy.

I know Tyler likes to make sure everyone is clear on his view on particular subjects but sometimes it comes across as small mindedness and bigotry, normally then followed up by reasons why he's not small minded or a bigot.

Bit wordy

6/10.

This.

The most tin pot team since tin was discovered. I'm glad not many are coming over from red neck country as they have a tendency to slap women and kids in shirts.
Scummy little club that I'd love to see go out of business.

Don't think for a minute that you will even reflect on how you behave online. But for what it is worth, you are absolute disgrace. Sickening that you are a fan of the same club I love. Just hope I never have the misfortune of ever sitting next to you. Can only hope you will grow up one day and realise what a crude ignorant individual you are.

Oh I do realise, and I'm not sorry in the least.

Now maybe you and the other outraged Dorothy's on here will display the same indignation towards those remarks by the Chesterfield cunt above.

It's ok....I'll wait.

That's your justification is it? Wow truly pathetic. I guess me being a Dorothy is some sort of insult? If it means I don't need to troll in the gutter to make myself feel important, then yeah happy to be a Dorothy. Hope no one you know or love dies suddenly...and some no mark internet troll makes light of it

Oh no, it's not a justification at all. I don't need to justify myself to a bunch of pixels quite frankly, or to anyone else for that matter.

I was just seeing how far you were willing to extend your righteous indignation.

The results were predictable.
