Cheers Roy.

Arrogance in plentiful supply with those early comments. They are in for a shock if they think we will be the 'easiest match of the season'.

Seriously, do any of these fuckers actually watch football outside of the 'elite' teams?

Much fairer comments further down however. Surprised to hear that we 'thumped Derby home and away' though I must have missed the away leg.

“Arguably the easiest match of the season”

Yeah..

“Yeah poor opposition no doubt“

Yeah...

“Our next 3 points come against Sheffield United”

Yeah...

“Another championship side for Abraham to statpad against!”

Yeah..

“These are another championship side like Norwich”

Yeah...

“big Sheffield”

Yeah...

“but I’m not convinced by Lampard’s tactical nous”

Oh Yeah...

Their expectations are predictable. A team of multi-million pound players.

I think we will surprise them.

The first proper Premier League view from, filled with throwaway comments. Including resting players 😂😂. They should beat us but their manager is worse, they are poor defensively and it's a reasonably new team.

Of all the away games against the top 8 (include Wolves and Leicester), either this or Arsenal would be the ones where the other teams are the most vulnerable.

Cheers Roy.

On the day of this game, it will be 96 years and 328 days since Sheffield United kept a clean sheet against Chelsea

I would imagine this will be at the forefront of Wilders thinking, as he makes his selections.
Although some of those involved will have lost a bit of pace now.

Is it even accurate? Silent.

They’ve every right to be confident as a top 6 side against newly promoted opposition. Fine with that.

But a lot of arrogance in those comments and the usual misunderstanding of what we are about.

I’ll assume it’s from the plastics rather than authentic fans that actually go to games.

Never did like Chelsea after the day they sent us down and showed such delight in it.
Easily got a ticket that day. How times change.

If Newcastle under the cabbage can win at Spurs then we certainly have a chance away at FLC.

Going for 1-1 personally!

This bloke does a decent enough job of analysing our preferred tactics (now tweaked of course).

He explains how difficult it will be to create chances against us based on our third best record in the league.

Then arrogantly predicts an easy 3-0 win for them anyway

Look it’s Chelsea, they should beat us even with the self imposed handicap of having Frank Lampard managing them.

No problem with them being confident. they should be.

It’s the disrespect in some of the comments.. Championship side.. no we arent as the League table shows.

Wankers

I hope even more now we can give these arrogant twats a wake up call. Also teach Lampard that there's so much more to being a manager than having mates in the right places.
COYRAWW

Can’t argue against the fact that Chelsea will be looking at this as 3 points for them given the differences between the two teams.

However, the fact they only just stumbled to 3 points against Norwich, yet have the arrogance to still call them a Championship team is sheer stupidity. I think we will cause them a few problems tomorrow, personally still think we will get beat but a good performance is all I want to see. Anything is better than how Warnock used to set up in these types of games.

One things for sure, the atmosphere in that away end will be something else

Wonder how post match will pan out should Megastars Chelsea win?

Young pretender teaches old innovator a lesson or two?

There's currently a clip doing the rounds on YouTube from when we played them in the early 90s at Stamford Bridge. 13k there and this is when the Premier League was in existence.

I think it explains the narrative of their comments.

If Richard Cadette is Chris Wilder after all, I'd stick these comments up in the dressing room tomorrow. They'll need to be high up though, as we have got a big side.
