At HT we moved from behind the goal to the side of the kop and it was still packed there but at least it was easier to breathe. A lot of people watched from the cricket side and the old Pavilion.

Didnt enjoy 1981-82 season as much as I did in the promotions to the top tier. Playing football on Saturdays was another reason I was a Lane part timer
