Got to agree it's sad that the FA have reduced the greatest competition to this sad shadow of itself.

Thursday night at 7 pm a day and time that just takes the piss out of all supporters.

Can't believe I am doing a 90 mile round trip to watch this. But I love the the FA Cup and the Blades. Must be feckin mad. Hats off to any Cardiff fans who make the trip.

To be fair it will be interesting to see how some of the youngsters do, like Marsh and Blacker, if they play

I’ve been saying play the youth or anybody that makes sure we don’t pick up any unwanted injuries, after reading that I’m now convinced we can win if we put the back room staff out. 😂😂

it will be lucky if the tie manages six of the players from both teams who played on Saturdays

never mind u23s i am expecting u18s

One benefit to scrapping replays I suppose is that it avoids another mid-week game in the freezing cold/fog/rain (delete as applicable) between two sides who don't give a shit and don't stand a realistic chance of winning it.

Dear god. I’d take two relegations to see an FA Cup with our ribbons on it.
Couldn't agree more.

Me and my Old Man will probably join his Old Man in never seeing us win a major trophy before we snuff it.

I'd quite like that not to happen!

(Still think we should play the kids for this one though)

I remember as a kid, eagerly waiting for the 3rd round draw to be done live. Excited about who we would play and hoping it to be at BDTBL.
Bramall Lane on 3rd FA Cup day used to be buzzing, also generally a bigger than average crowd in attendance.
How things have changed.

Can’t argue with much of that. It’ll be like one of the old central league matches from back in the day.

Same sort of attendance most likely too

Cheers Roy

Strangely enough, I think we’ll play a lot stronger team than most of us including myself thinks. Whilst Wilder does give the youngsters a go he is very reluctant to play too many youngsters in any one game.

It is very sad, the FA cup has. Gone from being something that's talked about with excitement for days to now being as entertaining as back to back episodes of Mrs Browns boys

£11 / £16 for 150 loyalty points. Anyone who comes out to whinge they can't get a ticket for home games should be on to this.
That’s not enough points for games like this, entice people in and give them a 1000 points, think outside the box a bit, I know it’s hard sometimes but I’m sure they can do it.

Cheers Panchero!
