Thanks Roy . Bury do seem to be there for the taking , but how many times have we said that over the last 5 seasons when the opposition are on a bad run or just been hammered.

Concentration is the key . Let's hope the club carry on from Saturday . A win is a win is a win , never mind how good or bad you play .

Boring one game at a time , but another vitally important game, like they all are.

Surely if they are going to bounce back against anyone it will be us!

I like the 16/1 for relegation comment in respect to lumping on and making enough to buy out the club.

If in the unlikely event we can heap more misery on them, I'm getting a good £50 or so on this, as the odds will have shortened by the following morning, keep an eye on it and if they are in danger of turning things around I'll just lay the bet at shorter odds on Betfair for a guaranteed profit. Boom!

That said, if we win by more than 2 all bets are off for the poor buggers....

“I’m bothered who plays because he needs to put a team out that can compete with Sheff Utd, mentally, physically and tactically"

Well I wouldn't be too worried about that, we're shi.......

No, I'll be nice this time, we won the other day :)

Five points from their last 10 games is David Weir territory. The 5 points all came from games against the bottom four.

This is an absolutely nailed on win for them, the sort of game we tend to screw up these days

Spent loads of money on shite at the tail end of their careers (sounds familiar!). They'll be in major financial difficulties in a season or two as they have gambled heavily.

Doctors diagnosis is if your team is on a terrible run get them to play Sheffield United it usually cures the problem.

However I've got a sneaky feeling it will be a terribly nil nil which will please no one.

They've got a good lad in Nathan Cameron at the back. Said at the time we ought to have been signing him in the summer but unfortunately for us it was always going to be too much of an ambitious one for Adkins.

I see Adkins has viewed their game with Coventry and said Bury could have had 6 themselves. He's not expecting it to be easy.

They will be out to defend and try for a draw ,we will have to be patient if we don't get an early breakthrough.

Hadn't really noticed till I checked the table the other day how much they had tumbled down the league. Their recruitment strategy at the start of the season seems to have back fired on them, but hats off to them for giving it a go and showing a bit of ambition, wish we could do the same. Clarkes customary goal against us ?

Nah 2-0 win for us we,re playing away.

Is Clarke still with them? Thats one nil down straight away.

A typical Barney contribution . A good post that if you didn't know better was making a good point, until you realise for the thousandth time, it's a way of attacking the manager.

Fucking yawn.

I'll take your word for it. I supose you have seen him as much as you've seen our players so..

We beat Coventry and they scored 6 against bury at the weekend.

So logically I can't see past a 7-0 or better result for us tomorrow.

We are unbeaten in 9 league games at Gigg Lane. We last lost there in 1951-2. That's our longest current unbeaten run away.

Of course, they hadn't won at the Lane since 1925 until this season, so that run counts for nothing...

(Our Longest unbeaten run at home in the league is currently 22 games against Pompey, who last beat us at the Lane in 1955-6)
