Don't flatter yourselves pal. If anything we called the game off so that we'd be better prepared for Fulham.... which worked out well. Anyway the real reason is because of our beloved SYP and Council are Health and Safety gone mad. Same reason we have to kick off early v Millwall, because they have no brains.

Clough is ideal for a club of their size, they need to watch out for what they wish for. If they got relegated they may not see the championship for quite a few years, we only know too well.

Hard to believe there are some who want Clough out. They are punching well above their weight - here they are almost middle of March and level on points with Birmingham and above Sunderland.

In relative terms a better overall league performance this season than Wolves.

I just saw your post, thought "eh? aren't wednesday on 40 points since their win on saturday" - cos after fulltime whistle blew at Ipswich I turned me radio off, assuming Wednesday had won, and was too depressed about our result to look at any football media for 2 days...

...and now i find out they let in a last minute equaliser! No matter how much of a downturn our season might have taken schadenfreude is the gift that just keeps on giving, week in week out

Just looked up last two years.

Last season Blackburn went down with 51 points!

Season before 41 would have stayed up.

To be honest I take my hat off to Burton Albion, can't see them surviving but they have battled hard to retain their status unlike Sunderland who, despite having an excellent manager seem to have given up the fight already. Expecting a tough game tonight.

Have a feeling that if Ched gets on at some point tonight and has a reasonable game, come the end of the season if/when Burton drop down and providing Cloughie is still in charge, wouldn't surprise me at all if he puts in in a sneaky bid for him.
