“Think this lot are massively overachieving.”

I hate being classed as 'over-achieving' only slightly less than being called 'this lot'
Because of this, I am now offended and more than a little annoyed, to the point that if I saw this person in the street, I'd be tempted to hit them and thwow them to the fwoor

“I think this will be a very difficult match. Not seen Sheff United to know if they any good or not? My pre-season relegation tip with Watford and one other club.”

I hate to say it but Brighton were my tip to be down there with Aston Villa and Watford. At least we both thought the same about Watford.
Due to my location, this will be my first game of the season, UTB.

Come on boys, the more you win, the more ale you can consume in the celebrations!!!!
Put the southern Shites to the sword!!

More wonderful work there Roy 👍

Imagine been patronised by Brighton & Hove Albion. If we’re the overachievers then what does that make them ffs.

To my shame, I have no real knowledge of Brightons style

Me neither, but I know we should be beating teams like them :)
“Think Stephens will be back as feel he will be more suited to the Sheffield utd physical game which I think will be their way of stopping us playing. ✅
I wonder where Enda Stevens has been? This bloke is a tad confused and can't even get the name right.

I think the confusion might be yours in this case, I think he's talking about their own Stephens, Dale, who's quite tall :)

I'm now in Borneo on holiday. Bad time difference. Thanks Roy! I've been sat in the airport in Penang waiting for this!

It amazes me week on week how many ‘football fans’ seemingly watch no football at all
Oh dear..

Has TV not reached Brighton and Hove? How can they be so ignorant of the way another team in their own division play?

Physical battle in store then?
🙄

To be honest I don't watch that much either. I find watching two teams I don't support quite boring.
The difference is, I don't post predictions and opinions about other teams that I know nothing about. That's what makes them look ignorant.

When I was at school they didn’t really label kids (apart from the obvious) but if I was a kid now I’d certainly have been labelled obsessive, compulsive, with ADHD and possibly on ‘the spectrum’. In my day, you were just a bit of a twat.
When I was a kid I was on the Spectrum quite a lot as well. Probably why I never got my homework done. :D

Maybe they're like me.

I'm not a football fan, I'm a Blade.

I hardly ever bother watching a game if United aren't playing.

But you probably aren’t on the internet telling everyone a different team play a certain style because you once watched them on the tv a decade and 10 managers ago.

I’m not having a dig at those who only watch their team because I totally get that. I just can’t stand the football know it alls who don’t even watch the game

On the run up to getting Chris O,Grady on loan from them I went on their forum most were on on suicide watch with the state of their club
Now they think they are perminant fixtures in the Premiership so did Bolton,Stoke,Hull etc

Very strange set of fans, this appears to be the current hot topics on their main board; wierd.

Or indeed stwike him woughly

It must have been.nice for some of them to find out after years of playing FIFA that an actual sport called football really existed where real life people played and went along to to the games

When I lived in Brighton they were playing at Gillingham in front of a couple of thousand. Then they moved to the Withdean which I think was only around a 5/6k capacity. They’re now getting large attendances so I can only assume these new fans are quite new to football.
You have a lot locals who support Man U Liverpool and the London clubs, who now, due to the high cost and difficulty of getting tickets at these clubs, have jumped back on the Brighton bandwagon. Stadium is good and the football isn’t bad. I know 3 season ticket holders there, a Man U, a Liverpool and a Chelsea fan. They will probably disappear pretty quickly if Brighton drop out of the Premier league

"walk in the park"
In the 4 seasons we have had wilder there has only been 3 easy( biggish) wins for the opposing team Southend 3-0 home (beginning of his reign)
Middlesboro 3-0 away(getting used to the championship 2nd or 3rd game in)
Wolves 3-0 away (one of the best championship teams in yonks)
We haven't lost away since January and we've only lost one game in 10
And we've lost just the 1game by more than 1 goal this season .
These Seagulls aren't nicking our fish & chips Saturday !
The last team we lost to away were managed by Potter

They played their home fixtures at Gillingham? That's really far. That's.... check google maps 74 miles! Respect to their fans who made that trek for "home" games.

I get your point but I went to Fulham away season before last and that wasn't so much a walk in the park for them, more like being carried around the park on a sedan chair.

“Both games (and wins) over Sheffield last year was a struggle in first half and complete domination in the others. Their CBs dont overlap a lot if they dont have the ball…”

Anyone else find that strange? They didn't play either Sheffield club last year in the league?!
