Pre-Match View From Bradford

Friendliness? Decency? Lack of hostility?

Add that to being in a blissful Championi state of goodwill to all?

We really need a bit of typical Tony McMahon fuckwittery tomorrow to restore a bit of normality.

Cheers Roy. Nice comments from them!. I'd love them to pip notlob to second place but can't see wilder's champions taking their foot off the gas until after the final whistle of the chessie party!. 100 points was wilder's next target after promotion!.

Sorry Bradford, but you're heading into the play offs. I wish you luck for them, but the only team catching Bolton is Fleetwood as they don't have to play us

Poor form from Bradford. No hilarious "Blunts" references, no "Bramhall Lane", no "Sheffield". Just balanced and thoughtful analysis from people who know about football.

Wankers.
A sensible and reasoned and humourous set of comments ? was it the real board ?

“If they score first, then I fear it will be all over. If we can keep the ball and frustrate them, then who knows. Concede early and I worry that we will suffer a significant defeat.”

And this from the current second best team in the division.
Kinell, what a season!!

Tough this one for me. I'd love Bradford to go up with us. The legend that is Macca at their helm, a good team and great fans who deserve it, but I can't bring myself to want us to lose a game.

As good as 100 points sounds, I wouldn't be too upset if we drew and hopefully the point for them will put even more pressure on Bolton.
That's my take on it too.

Definitely don't want us to lose although I wouldn't be devastated if we did.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow although I'm a little bit apprehensive about sharing my train from Leeds with hordes of Bradford fans, because there are bound to be some knobs amongst them, and it would be just my luck to get stuck in a carriage with them.

Wouldn't begrudge them the win if I'm honest. Them pipping the nobbers to second would be unbelievably hilarious.

Wilder and the players will be desperate to keep the winning habit. Apart from a few posters on here I very much doubt Blades at the game tomorrow will be cheering for anything but a performance and result to keep us on track for a fantastic 100 points haul.
Personally I wouldn't have a ticket free to feel for Bradford let alone pay over £20. If after 46 games they finish above Bolton then they deserve automatic. As far as tomorrow goes they are just another team I want MY team to absolutely fucking smash.

Don't know why I'm surprised by the comments about Bolton. You'd think any team with one foot in the automatic promotion position would be chomping at the bit to ensure their place as guaranteed promotion certainties. It's Bolton's to lose, and if they've lost their backbone then I've no pity for the weak-kneed jessies. The only thing that matters is that we continue to win, ruthlessly, and with the aplomb of confirmed Champions, Up The Mighty Blades!!!

Sensible sane comments apart from the last one...

“Think we’ll have too much for the Blades"

Yeah okay Mate.

Thanks Roy again good read as always.
Somehow don't think them sucking up to our Chris will do em any good lol

Loads of tickets left on the kop and BLUT. Unless there's a big walk up demand tomorrow we'll be lucky to crack 27,000
I suppose the Sky coverage will have a slight adverse effect on the attendance. I will be watching the game from my sofa.

Very good luck to Bradford; I would dearly love them to join us in the Championship - especially don't want to see Bolton there with us. However, I've never yet been to the Lane wanting to see my team not get a win. However (2) - sometimes, over many years, I have been to the Lane to watch a bunch of players that I would certainly deny were in any way representative of "my team". However (3) the very definition of the word "team" would exclude those anyhow.

Things change over time.
1981 82 Bradford City were our closest rivals in Div 4 and we beat them to the title.
I met a fan of theirs who hated us because of that.
I always had a great liking for the people of Bradford I must say.
Go up City..along with Fleetwood Town.
