Mark Patterson still gets recognised? He certainly did when he knocked on my door a few years back to quote for a patio. Much to the surprise of people who know me quite well, I didn’t let on and he didn’t get the job as he was too cheap. That surprised people who know me quite well even more 🙂

A really enjoyable set of comments and they’re mainly expecting to lose or draw, how big would another win be for us and not just the three points.
 
Sheffield is not short of great pubs…this is definitely one of them

I remember going over there once on business about 30 years ago and in the middle of this huge empty area that had obviously been the site of an enormous factory there was this little pub stood on it’s own. The guy I was with said that it kept different opening hours to the rest of the country so the steel workers coming off shift could get a drink.

Was that right ?

Station within walking distance of the stadium and you can walk through the real ale capital of the world sampling some cracking beers so long as you don’t act the twat.

I'm not sure I like their love in with Sheffield I feel a lot more comfortable when away fans hate us like Hull do. A win tonight would be a huge result for us, make it happen Blades

You can't take it away from them, they were the best side I've seen this season against us, just hope that our players want a bit back now that they got what they wanted in slav gone..

Blackburn are well rested but without Diaz will be less of a threat, cause he was fucking magnificent at thier place.

A draw will do me.. Great team, great manager, bbr fans wanting him out, be carefull what you wish for..

They're not in great form and without Brereton Diaz the goals have completely dried up. They've scored none in their last 4 and only 4 in the preceding 4 games. They've not won away since beating Cardiff in the middle of January.

I too don't like that sort of representation - BUT......for me there's quite a bit of truth in that statement.

I think those feelings go back to the old days and i've come across it a bit myself as I have travelled round the country with my job.

Much less so in the past 20-25 years as the relevance of the pigs has just dropped through the floor.

The old football league model of finances helped them to be massive as they like to think they are, but times have changed and people opinions of them have changed also.

If we play our cards right and we can hopefully invest in a grade 1 academy, the phrase "This City is ours" could have a lot better meaning outside our area than it does to us. Their continue perception of massiveness has counted against them for a while now and it continues.

I had a very interesting conversation just yesterday with with a very intelligent piggy fan (yes, some do exist and I do admit enjoying our conversations) and he points to the ground & training facility as now being the major stumbling block to their progression out of the mire. One that Chansiri has all on his own, put them in, and with now no real prospects of immediate recovery which may actually hasten their continued demise. In effect to him, Wednesday's past is holding them back and they need a complete bottom up rebuild. It was of course music to my ears, but I genuinely agree with his sentiments.

Another 20 years wouldn't go amiss for me though 🤣

it's been a long time since someone on here and also fellow Blades has attempted that - the other two got the same response.

You can FUCK OFF with it as it's uncalled for.

Season ticket holder but can't make it tonight. it will be the 3rd home game Ive missed this season.

Games missed to date are
Blades 6 Peterborough 2 and
Blades 4 Swansea 0

So the omens are good, when I miss a game we score loads of goals and play really well.
