“Presume there is Sheff U fans above us then ? surprised that the old bill allow that. Obviously nowhere else for us to be housed then, but in that case, why have we been allocated 500 less than Forest got for the same end? we’d have sold them easily!”

I claim first,with a Brum fans quote..............btw thick twats are'nt they ^^^^^^

barsteward....
Actually question for you Roy, when was the very first "View from", and can it still be viewed?

The first one was just on Bladesmad and it was the first game of the 2011/12 season against Oldham. Maybe you could view it on the wayback machine? The first one when I set up the website was Preston at home back in 2015

That’s a proper View From that - plenty of vitriol and a classic “Bramhall Lane” thrown in. They don’t make ‘em like they used to.

Cheers Roy

Thanks Roy. Understandably they're looking on the gloomy side. Hope we can hit the ground running cos this is an ideal game.

Thanks Roy, here's hoping for a quick start & an early goal, if we play anything like we should have to much for them even without Anel.

What's the issue with the number of tickets? Surely if they can sell out the away end they can have em. What's the allocation around 2,800?

Apart from the weird complaints about the away allocation a pretty sensible set of comments.

16,162 average home attendance last season for England's second city. Shameful. Wankers.
That is partly due to the lower capacity at St Andrews, as a result of the works at the ground which many of their fans think are being done slowly on purpose by a vindictive board.

In the last 10 seasons Birmingham have finshed between 10th and 21st in the Championship. They have stayed up on the last day once, but done nothing else of note in the league. They have reached the last 16 of a cup 3 times, but gone no further.

Is this the least interesting last 10 seasons of any league club?

I realise they have the lower tier but what are they moaning about the allocation for? Just under 3,000 isn't a bad allocation is it?
Like one of em says, where would they move our ST holders to? I don't understand it tbh. You get what you're given.

They'll wish they got less allocation. 4 nil Blades with this one. Close first half but we'll dry bum them in the second.

Thanks Roy, don't think even my time machine can go that far back...but we all know the porkies go back to 3000 BC.....
👍

Birmingham were given just over 2,700 tickets and they sold them all over a week ago.
They could have probably sold 3.5K to 4K for this match and someone has noticed that Forest in the play-off semi final were allocated more tickets.

With plenty of time remaining before the match Birmingham were understandably thinking they could have been given more tickets like Forest.

I remember when the Bramall Lane corner stand was built and McCabe mentioned that there was plenty of flexibility regards away allocations.
The first match in the PL was against Liverpool and we gave them 3K in the lower tier and 1.5K in the upper near the scoreboard end.

Often wondered if there's a big away demand then why don't we split the BLUT in half and give an extra 1K tickets to the away team.

I wonder whether the answer to your question is "South Yorkshire Police won't allow it"

Really? Are the stewards policing it? Can you imagine Birmingham and Millwall sharing the BLUT? Jesus.
