Praise for the ref

For giving an indirect free kick for a pass back, that led to our first goal. The number of times a ref will 'look the other way' when this happens. A great strike by Duffy as well. The only time I can remember us scoring from a free kick for a pass back, was when Don Hutchinson blasted the ball in, we won the game 1-0, I can't recall who it was against.

Always sticks in my mind what the Luton goalkeeper said afterwards, "if we go down because of this I hope the referee can sleep at night" or something like that. Luton did go down, then kept going down all the way to the conference from the second division. I used to think it all started with that back pass.

Apparently the referee hasn't had a decent night's sleep in 20 years.
