Praise for John Garrett

As some of you know my daughter was extremely upset at The Forest game when a firework thrown from the back of The Kop landed at her feet and exploded. Fortunately she was not hurt but it did worry her, and when we scored against Bristol City she turned round rather than celebrating.

Anyway we got in touch with the club straight after the Forest game and John Garrett invited us up to Shirecliffe last Monday afternoon to meet Cloughy and the players. They were all great to her signing autographs and having photos taken. Just to say John Garrett is a top bloke remembering her from when she was mascot 2 years ago and making sure she left with a smile.

Cheers all, she certainly enjoyed it. As I say all the players were great with her. The big thing that struck me was what a fabulous camaraderie there was in the squad, no cliques, lots of mickey taking but all good natured. Watching them train they were all enjoying what was a very light workout, loads of laughter.
