Having listened to Nigel Cloth heads interview and also Lee Johnson of Barnsley interview after last nights game the difference in attitude is unbelievable. Our Nigel goes on to say it's a good point away from home on a bad pitch, we could have won, there a good team, the ball was too round and other excuses and we will settle for a point. Listen to lee johnsons approach and he sounds gutted he says settling for a point is not acceptable but sometimes it happens. Also goes on to blame himself for the formation played and it not working. Cloth head needs to have a look at this young managers approach and take hints.

i think the difference is! johnson has just come into a club on a high with no pressure and expectancy on them lets see what happens in the next few weeks if the run continues and pressure and expectancy rises he, s having a free ride at present, but i do think he is a good manager.Clough to compare is now under a lot of pressure (most of his own making) with a club with fans who are desperate for promotion and a team who have lost confidence maybe in him?.the last two home defeats has drained confidence in the players and they are now in a battle for a play off place..we now need to stick together as we have fans have a big part to play especially in the home games! if you want the team to fail then by all means boo the team at the first oportunity it works as the team will lose even more confidence.
Please stay away as 10000 fans behind the team will help them relax and maybe string a few wins together. If the present
sequence continues we will have another wilson situation and that did,nt work and we are where we are 2 years on.its obviouse clohgh has made some big mistakes this season both tactically and with his recruiting of players .Lets see where we are at seasons end and then the powers that be make the right decisions on taking the club forward(be it with clough or some other manager).make a rash decision now and we could be where we are now in 2 years time.

The players have no confidence due to the tactics and different formations being played by clough. We cannot get a settled starting eleven because 75% through the season our manager still doesn't know his best side. If I want to show my displeasure at the truly boring try not lose football we are playing I will because as a paying customer I have the right to.

or to put it another way - job security. NC must be aware his performance is being closely monitored at Board level and the "postive spins" and the apparent failure to take any responsibility personally for setbacks may well be down to him wanting to keep his job. If he was to say right now "I got the tactics and formation wrong again and I don't have a plan B" he would probably be spending his time negotiating a settlement for an early termination of his contract.

You make some good points mancblade and you have evry right to show your dispeasure but negativity at our remaining home games will make it a lot harder to win them.I accept its difficult not to respond to some poor home performances but to
berate our players during games if things arnt going too well just makes it harder(thats why i say if negativity is the response please stay away ) and failure is more than possible!.We can make the play offs and win them we need to put our frustrationto one side and back the team as i have said before the powers that be hopefully will make the right decisions for the club come seasons end..Phipps has said it costs 5 million every season we are in this turgid division the money men wont be happy with that! so lets back the lads for the last push we can do it if we stick together.

this is from this morning nigel good time now to win 3 home games and cement your place in the top 6 reply is no we wont win them all ?

what he said was it is rare for teams to win 3 on the trott when the matches are following each other (7 days) he obviously wants to win all three its just the way he put it across not being negative just being realistic i personally would be happy with 7
points but like all our fans 9 would be fantastic.

For me the best way to show your "displeasure" is to not go, vote with your feet so to speak, however when you attend try not to see yourself as a "paying customer" we are supporters lets all stand together UNITED and support our club, let's please try and remain positive for the rest of the season, it's not over yet we still have a good chance for promotion, don't get me wrong I'm as frustrated as yourself but we're at the business end of the season for me it's crucial we get behind the team!! I have no intention of berating the players its clough I have the problem with. If I'm honest I feel sorry for the players because they are being made to look distinctly average under clough and his tactics. We have some talent in the squad just not being allowed to shine at the moment. UTB

Referring to our owner as a "Cloth Head" is a bit uncalled for surely? Lets have a bit of respect.
