Possible 2021/22 Away Kit

Why is everyone convinced that the black one is greyscale? It could just be those colours.

Mind you, if it is a black and white pic, it could be anything... anyone for dark grey shirt with pink sash?
Could be akin to the classic laver away strip that had the green and purple sash/slash.

With the "Beerschott purple".

The third shirt this season seems to have finally cracked the idea that the ring on the badge has to be red: this season's away shirt would have been way better with the badge and sponsor logo in just black rather than black and red. Same goes for this kit: if it's got a red and white badge on it'll not look as good (IMHO!)

I'm not sure I agree. There's a saying - "Red and Green, should never be seen"

If it's done in monochrome, I think it works:

If it's colour matched to the shirt, it doesn't work:

The problem for me on the green shirt badge is that they have used a full badge:

It would've looked better if the crest was heat pressed on so the green part of the crest was actually the shirt. Not a perfect example, but see how the shirt pokes through the man utd crest:

Or even if all the branding was just white instead of "sand":

I think we're broadly agreeing :) The badge on the away shirt should have been monochrome as the red clashes with the pink of the shirt.

I thought the "sand" was a nod to the typical colours of a Saudi Arabia shirt which in turn led me to this (noting that I was wrong) thing of beauty. Such a shame it's linked to the regime there.

Sorry, didn't read your post properly

I wonder if we'll launch the kits before the end of August this year? 🤔

The new manager announcement will be at the same time as the kit launch. Michael Appleton, wearing an apple green away kit. YHIHF.

you mean jimmy Sirrel

No, this myth needs debunking once and for all. When Sheffield Council laid claim to the Coat of Arms and we had to change the shirt badge, the club took an existing design from Hagan, which he designed for the club blazer, and gave it to Admiral the new kit manufacturer. They came back to the club with several versions of that, and a group of officials, which may or may not have included Sirrel, chose the roundel version.

Some photoshop wiz needs to stick this on the leaked shirts

I've no issue with this, a sponsor's a sponsor in my eyes as long as they pony up the dough, but I really really hope they don't mind the colour of their branding to be changed to suit the shirt design.

Ramsden's Currency in Green on a Red n White shirt looked absolutely horrendous IMHO.

Door Deals looked pretty decent when they were the back sponsors and they're green and orange.

I personally don't mind what colour the sponsor is as long as it's not bl*e (HFS Loans, anyone?) Not just because of the Wendy connotations that colour has but because it looks gash to start with.
