Ok, easy to be critical after a night, and season, like this, but looking ahead we have some very good players at this level:

Murphy
Basham
Done
McNulty
Flynn
Brayford

We have a couple of promising youngsters:

Adams
Reed

We have several players who are a bit dicey but good enough to be squad players in any team in the league:

Harris
Howard
J-Mac
Freeman
Doyle

There's a definite need for a severe trim, but it will only take 2-3 signings and a decent manager to get us up.

Agree , but who is going to buy the other 20 you haven't mentioned or we cancel there contracts.

yeah, big problems on that front and I can't see the Board continuing to pay-off contracts.

Brayford worries me a bit. He must be on a hell of a lot of money and if the financial support dries up from the Prince, we might have sever issues with the wage bill.

According to Clough, Brayford might be out for 6 months.
The main positive is we are 13/2 to be L1 Champions next season.

The only positive will be if Clough gets the sack.

Most of who you mention are not good players in this league. They are average in this league, and it's a standard some people need to realise if we are to get promoted. You are comparing players against others in our squad, not players at the top of league 1. Lest we forget none of our players made the L1 team of the year (or were anywhere near, I'm sure).

Just take a look at Swindon tonight, how many of your list would start for them? Murphy (on his day) and I aren't convinced any of the others would, truthfully. This is comparing our squad to a side which finished 5th, miles behind the automatics. This squad needs (yet another) overhaul as just about all of them are bang average league one players. We are miles behind and, with a couple of exceptions, I wouldn't be disappointed to see any of them leave, or who'd even want any of them for that matter.

I think most will agree we need a whole new spine. A GK, 2 CHs, 2 CMs, 2 CFs and a winger with pace would be nice too. There is a long way to go if we want to be anywhere near the top 2 next season (which we can probably already write off based on our recent performances in the transfer market)

I disagree. I think in any other decent side they would have shined. On this season's form, I take your point, but is it the players or the manager?

Done's scored 21 or 22 goals this season, for instance.

Reasons to be positive:
Fifth season in the shithole
Scored 5 and didn't go through
DODGY KEEPING
