Playing with players lIves and the long term effects of Covid is not a good look for the Premier League, it won’t be long before the players union gets involved.

Why is it playing with lives? Are shops playing with their employees lives? Footballers are in the very privileged position of getting regular Covid tests, and only being required to mix with others who are also regularly tested. What other employees can say that? If they stick to the rules (big if) then the risk is minimal.

The potential impact of long COVID would probably end a footballer's career. It can be similar for anyone but if it hits an elite athlete they're probably done in terms of elite sport. It has to be said though, the reason there are so many COVID cases within Premier League football is the fact that so many people are ignoring or flouting rules within those bubbles.

They're hardly being punished for this. The PL should either give them a hefty fine or significant suspension. The clubs probably will but it has wider implications for the game itself.

Agreed. The Premier League has done what it can to make football safe. Players breaking the rules make it less safe and should be punished.

People are not social distancing as a country we need to get a grip I went for a walk this morning there were hundreds of families out sledging and not keeping their distance from one another.
So to expect retards footballer to do it when it’s Christmas party time is frankly impossible
I saw Billy Sharp in Costa with Jonathan Forte and I think Billy's wife.
Evidently breaking the guidelines which were no mixing between households.
A out a month ago.
