obviously this is a joke, but you're overlooking one thing, porter is s**t...

oh and that photoshopping is terrible...

on another note, is this the first time england are going to a world cup without the expectation of actually doing well?

Check out this guy

On topic tho, if Chris Porter is even considered worthy for the bench after the summer's transfer dealings, that will be a failure. Clough needs at least 2 good strikers.

Of Porter is even at this club after summer it will be a huge failure

Yeah I wouldn't want a bloke to go and score 11 goals for us off the bench, that would just be shit wouldn't it?

Poster on BM saying Porter has been released!

Please, please, please let this be true

Slightly 'off topic' well non-Blades anyway, but I'm actually looking forward to the World Cup, not for England, but to see some of the talent from around the world! I hate watching England games generally, because like the Blades of old they always manage to disappoint after building up your hopes, although this 'new' young look squad could be interesting.

Anyway, my 'off topic':
I was reading an article at the weekend about how the German FA has gone about their planning for the World Cup and in particular the facilities their players will enjoy. No 3 star hotel next to a slum, surrounded by gun totting gangsters, with a 2 hour drive to the nearest airport (this is what the English FA have booked!) for Joachim Löw and his squad. No, in order to "help minimize strain on players" the German FA, in conjunction with some German private investment, have built from scratch a beach front 5 star spa 'camp' complete with full training facilities and press facilities. The team's staff will spend the tournament living in 13 houses on site. They will also have an airport just 15km away dedicated for their own private jet transport.
After the World Cup the purpose built retreat will become a holiday resort!

Typical eh?

Well for those who thought it wa a waste of money by the Germans......!!!!!!

Also, this is an interseting article:
