Young Portadown defender (centre-back) has been invited to train with Sheffield United.

Been to watch them a few times as my side of the family are from that part of the world. They not biggest fans of Glenavon either.

Larkin seems to have developed quickly and done well since breaking into the first team. Ports had a shocking season last term mind you...had a 12 point deduction at the start of the season and never really threatened to stay up. He's taken his first team chance and has potential...nothing to lose taking a look for a few days. He mustn't be over yet, played in a pre season match tonight
