Wednesday's view on our 125th celebrations.

Does ANYBODY give a flying f**k what some sad, green eyed, blinkered, short memoried, truffle munching, inaccurate, pathetic, scumbag pig ba***rd thinks regarding OUR 125th celebrations !!??!!

This person should clearly be spending a little bit of their time on their own snort site, discussing their own clubs issues, acorns, truffles, mud baths, etc rather than coming onto a site of the Club which seems to be the object of their envy.

How this person has the gall to raise various issues about OUR Club, when his / her own lot have such a chequered and dodgy history, speaks absolute volumes about the sheer arrogance and bigoted attitude of their followers. Methinks they should crawl back under the turd that they have been hiding under for the last 15 years and hope like they've never hoped before that they don't end up being pursued through the courts themselves ( which is why nobody will give Mandaric ten bob for the Club ) as that would surely spell the final end for these poor deluded fools who think so highly of themselves.

The thing is with Wolves their league titles and some cup final appearances all came in a purple patch between 1949 to 1960 under the famous Stan Cullis, no doubt about it they were the team to beat in the 50's otherwise reaching the UEFA cup final in 72 and two League cup wins in 74 & 80 apart their record is not much better than ours. This is a club which has has a hell of a lot of cash thrown at it after 1980 .......... bailed out by the local council to save them from liquidation after building a new stand and then Jack Haywood ploughed millions in to re build the stadium and the team.
Bigger than we are ? I don't think so, just the Sheff Wendy of the Black country.

Good point ..... who actually cares about who is a bigger Club than who. Usually our arrogant neighbours from South Barnsley to whom it is the biggest burning issue ever due to them being MASSIVE. I'm amazed each year that they aren't awarded a complimentary place in the champions League to atone for the anomaly that sees them temporarily marooned in the Championship with little insignificant Clubs.
A supporter of Torquay has just as much right to support their team and love them unconditionally as a supporter of Barcelona.

frankly it is all a bit 'my dad is harder than your dad'.. most ex players get booed. even here at Sturm Graz.. personally i think it makes most individuals try harder so it is counterproductive

I agree but did you see Villa on tv today? I'd say about 90% of their fans had left before the end - it was unbelievable.

Villa and Sunderland must be top of the "I can't possibly spend 5 minutes in traffic" brigade. We're probably top end Championship standard.

To be fair to Macdonald lets not forget at the time we had Weir , and no investment , just mccabes debt, it was purely common sense to go to a club that was in the prem 24 months back, we only had hope to offer him at the time, most in football knew Wolves would be there or thereabouts, its his career not a labour of love

Size of the club has always been a cover for the poor state of the team.

Having gone on about for so long is an indication of how crap they have been.

In my 43 years of following The Blades I can't think of many seasons when they were truly ahead of us.

truly; By that I mean if you look at them now, whilst they are a league ahead of us they are still crap and can't take the piss.
