......He looked like a rabbit in the headlines......

Can't see the resemblance myself, but I'll take your word for it Olle.:D

No, but it's not a case of blame. He's done absolutely nothing to show he has what it takes to be a manager. Lack of a negative does not equal a positive. He was a good (not great) player for this club who was given a coaching role for no other reason than to save money - no different to Cresswell. Lets not suddenly designate him for future greatness simply because his recent failure was not really his fault. Whatever the mitigation, he didn't do very well and didn't look the part. Contrast the confident professional with a vision who just walked into our club. There's a big difference.
A thug, who was at berst an average player.

Get the fucking dingle two hat out of our club as quick as possible. Limited player and terrible manager. Less tactical nouss than Kevin Keegan. It was embarrassing when he took over. He looked like a rabbit in the headlines. For such a hard man, he looked like a lost little boy. Worse than Speed when he was in charge.

Morgan showed enough in 5 games for me to say that he will never be a good manager. Add to that the terrible season for the reserves and youth teams and you can see it is not in him. He took over a team that was playing brilliantly under Pembo and turned them into a clueless bunch of hoof merchants over night. In terms of the first team, we all thought that it could not get worse than that fateful night under Crawley for Wilson. Well step forward Morgs.

I cannot understand this Morgan legend stuff. He was a severely limited player. He did ok under Warnock's kick and rush stuff, but his stopper style (deck em) centre half stuff quickly became outdated. He was lucky he got carried for years by Jags and I always thought that Short was better when we got promoted for example. From the Prem, as captain, he oversaw 2 relegations and retired when we were in a right state.

The bloke is a thug and a disgrace to SUFC. He wants to put his flat cap on, grab his whippet and take his pigeons
back to Scargill country. Morgan - you have had your team here, nar fook off.
At last someone who will say what a thug this clown actually is.

I think I can safely say, yes! Despite the rhetoric and almost universally positive response to this appointment, if we're 10th after 10 games there will be shouts for a change!
Dont be silly , the posts in here mercilessly slaughtering a loyal player in a bad situation show some fuck wits demand nothing less than winning every game at this level , not that its ever been done , ever.
The we must beat every league one side 7-0 minimum brigade do my head in, they have brains the size of a pea.
Constructive criticism is always welcome, but todays its lets start with abuse and if we dont get our way lets demonstrate and crank up the abuse even more , shows little thought goes on , and definitely no consideration , just blinkered views.
Morgan just wasnt prepared , keen yes but just not ready, the abuse of some leads me to believe we are infested with pig fans in here, no true blade would abuse morgs in the way some have

Trust me SV. When I drive back from Raw-mish (in Rov-ram) t Wentforth on a Sat-di neet, after abart 8 pints o real ale in t'George I put mi full beams on and blind the rabbits ...... just before I flatten the bastards. Them rabbits on Cortworth Lane have the same look in their eyes (as the lights blind and the rabbit stew experience commences) as Morgan had in his eyes on the touch line end of last season.

No self respecting United fan would support that useless Dingle twat. A clown of the highest order and nowt but a neanderthal. Just because he is supposed to be hard as fook and 'shows a bit of passion', everyone thinks he is the dogs ball. His kind of behaviour is ok on a neet art round Barnsley, but I though more of people from Sheffield.

There's a poll on here regarding what is the expectation for next season, I'm interested in how those that have voted for promotion will react to Weir if we don't get it.

It would all depend on how we didn't achieve promotion if that happened. If we show signs of building with a plan, play some decent stuff along the way but are headed by better performing teams then most would probably accept it as (another) transitional season. If we finish mid table (or worse), play crap then we all know what will happen.

To be honest, that would probably be the situation with any manager this season be it first time Weir or Jose Mourinho given what they've got to play with.

No need for the disrespect towards him.

Anyway, he's staying. Does anyone know in which capacity?
100 lb per square inch , knowing Morgs

how any one can abuse one of the wallpaper background characters on this very page is beyond me,one of the 6 most iconic players

That'll be the former England manager and former Wales manager then. Clearly none of that suitable for a set of divisions three dropouts. What planet are you on?

Take a perspective pill...
